Yeah - he discussed with the coaches loading up on classes so that he could take a Masters or something at Iona. But in Sheridan's mind he always knew that he would graduate early and then leave to go somewhere else. I guess he was under no obligation to discuss his longer terms plans with his coaches, but he was certainly not open and honest about his plans.

I like Ryan, I wish people would stop hating on him.

I met Ryan a couple of weeks ago and he seemed like a really cool, down to earth guy. We talked about the cross country season a little bit but people should stop speculating on why he left and his motives for choosing what ever school he goes to. Nothing I saw led me to believe he was anything other than a really cool guy to be around and a good runner.

All American in XC after coming back from illnesses and injurines in HS where he was without a doubt the best runner in his class as a sophmore, would have been a title contender this year had it not been for injury and team troubles....but the real question is WTF cares about anything related to CT

-Ryan Sheridan is a shit person for leaving his team mid way through the season and for not turning up to practice to support his team after he got his little stomach problem. he didn't even have the balls to tell his friends that he was leaving. he got nothing but the best treatment at Iona and in return he abandoned the team when he should have been a real captain. pathetic act.

- the coaches at Iona are incapable of having professional relationships with their athletes. they are bullies and terrible human beings. if you aren't in the top 7 you should at least expect the basics from a coach. a coach shouldn't be open about saying they dislike certain athletes on the team or make fun of their own athletes. that's exactly the type of behavior that caused the dumb ass assistant coach to be fired.

hopefully villanova has pepto bismol on tap so liddle prince ryan sheridan can run for more than 3 days in a row :(.

Visited the school on a recruiting trip and ryan seemed like a dedicated and hard working athlete. Dont know him personally, but friends of mine do and feel the same way.

where is ryan running this year? top 10 at nationals is a shoe in

Um, SBU has had a bunch of 4:10 mile/8:30 3k types come in(Summerville, Almond, Farrell, Hodge, Felce) and not one of them qualified for NCAA's in XC or on the Track. He cannot develop men like he does the women, its a well-known fact.

Get a men's coach in there

any idea what school he's actually going to? is he still running? helluva talent to just throw it away, but i guess whatever makes the guy happy

Ryan Sheridan is at Villanova, and training, should be good to go by Big East/Regionals and hopefully beyond.

I think Stoney Brook i.e., SUNY - State University of NY, Stoney Brook.

The had the sisters that were foreigners that topped the women's program and gave them a pretty high finish, I think.
