Dave Winfield
Dave Winfield
ASHTON EATON! He is young yet, but he will be the greatest athlete of all time!
You could throw in Babe Ruth. Early in his career he was a great pitcher, setting a consecutive-scoreless-inning mark for World Series play, a record that stood until 1961.
As a hitter he transformed the game basically inventing the long-ball as a major force in baseball. And unlike today's HR hitters he also hit for avg.--his lifetime avg .342 is 10th on the all-time list.
Even though it's the same sport, pitching and hitting are different enough skills to put him on the list.
NEON DEION!
When did running, become about pretending?
Lance Armstrong

Sugar Ray Robinson!
Nehemiah won "Superstars" four times, so I am going to have to give it to him. Kyle Rote Jr., runner-up.
