The All-American from University of Louisville is forced to start with the masses at 7:59 AM (5 minutes after the elite race) and still finishes with the 4th Fastest Time!!! Wow what a race!! Way to go WESLEY!!!!
the unknown runner is Allen Wagner, he has a blog on Flotrack @ times and spent some time with the Hanson's earlier this year (thank you runner tracking & Google) looks like he ran the OT last Nov

What's shady about it??? He was at the disadvantage starting behind.
he didn't catch up to the pack. He ran a faster time basically alone. It just shows a flaw in the separate elite start!
GREAT race for cherigat after several years away from the sport and 2:14 at Boston this past spring. I absolutely guarentee he's thrilled with this one.
