KD couldn't run a 3:56. That's why people are excited. He's got the speed to run a great mile and the strength to drop his 800.

He may have dropped 2 seconds...however that could just mean he was capable of running faster before that race.

Ran 48.15 for 400m in late March last year (3/24/06). He won the race. 2nd place was at 48.90.
At the very least he looks like a potential 3:52 miler.
