I’m a guy and if I could run shirtless, I would. When racing or running, I would just prefer to have on less.
I’m always amazed at how the folks who get upset about women’s track uniforms never seem to complain about male swimmers wearing speedos and how real racing they are in comparison to women’s swimsuits.
At a track meet earlier this year, there were women competing in the following uniform bottoms styles:
briefs style, volleyball shorts style, traditional split shorts style, half tights style, longer basketball style shorts, full tights, joggers, and sweatpants
Seems to me that there are plenty of options and if someone is wearing a certain style of bottoms, it’s because that’s what they want to wear, otherwise they would have picked something else. Maybe the people who get upset about this type of thing should find something actually important to concern themselves with.
