We would actually see more performances like the ones of Sell, Cabada, Jenkins, and Moulton if more young, top-notch talent had no fear of longer distances. Can you imagine if Ritzenhein decided to jump in the US 25K Champs, or maybe Matt Gonzales, Josh McDougal, or Adam Goucher, or any 3000m US Indoor Champ Qualifier (which Cabada is)? How about a Dan Lincoln or a Ryan Hall? Think outside the box, buddy. Those kids will run sub-1:14:00 for 25K in the future, just wait and see, if they attempt it.

This is a perfect example of why Gebrselassie is a legend. The man has World Class Mile Speed, gifted enough to challenge El Guerruoj, yet he chose to focus on the 10,000 meters! That's why there was no surprise when Alan Webb dropped a 27:34 debut. Take your speed and move it up. There are plenty of faster runners out there to ruin your precious kingdom.
