Many people would pick Johnston to autoqualify just because they return everyone, but Pella would have autoqualified if their #2 runner finished where she was expected. Pella isn’t losing much either and so I think they will be back with a vengeance.
Wayzata could take top 5 (or maybe even podium) in the nation, and I think whichever team takes second will likely do better than 21st, which is what Johnston got
