I believe she’s only a few bad races away from having a break & starting a family. If she does, I wonder what she will do. Will she continue steeple or will she move to the 5000m or marathon? Does she have the versatility?
After recovering from surgery Schweizer has been racing a lot lately and is getting back to the peak shape she had when she ran 14:26 for 5K and 8:25 for 3K.
4:14.8 is really impressive considering that it ties the course record set by Laura Muir.
I don't know what a 4:14.8 mile on the road converts to the track, but a 4:14.8 on a track would be right up there with the fastest times.

Times may be significantly effected by the wind, both for better or worse, on a point to point course like that. Not sure what it was like out there today.
Linking specifically to Kerr and Hoppel as both were very interesting to me. Got to hear about Hoppel's Sedjati/bi-carb takes, and then for Kerr got to ask about some of the Zurich stuff with Jakob, more racing next year, and his "boring" races comments.
Beyond Schweizer's time, which one might say was helped by the course and the wind, she badly beat some really good runners who very recently ran very good. Karissa Schweizer 4:14.8 Dorcas Ewoi 4:17.3 1:58.19 July, 4:19.71 August Susan Ejore 4:18.3 3:56.07 August Melissa Courtney-Bryant 4:19.9 4:16.38 July Sarah Healy 4:20.7 3:58.42 August Emily Mackay 4:22.1 3:55.9 June - was not at this level in Paris though
