I'm a fan of both Valby & Tuohy. I am well aware of your disdain for Valby & Wiley. I think that everyone here is. That said, I haven't noticed her being "evasive" in interviews. Granted, I haven't listened to a lot of her interviews, but what I have watched I haven't noticed it. She seems a bit uncomfortable in front of the camera but a lot of younger people are. Nothing there, really.
Secondly, she lives and trains in Gainesville. Gainesville is very humid. I have heard that humidity is the "poor man's altitude." I don't understand the physiology of that and how humidity can increase the oxygen carrying capacity in the same manner that altitude does, but there must be something there.
Lastly, what is this "massive physical transformation" that you are referring to? She looks a little leaner and more muscled than when she was in high school and first at UF, but not unusually so. Most athletes, particularly women, are going to look different toward the end of their collegiate career vs the beginning.
