So happy to see Sammy Watson make it thru!
Tragic fall for Whittaker.

On the broadcast, you can see Ferguson step on or even beyond the inside line a couple times in the first 50 meters of the race.

I think it was for stepping on the line. Lame. He deserves to be in the final.

Ferguson was DQed. Why?
Did they say stepping on the inside line? Why did roisin not run?
Acting like an D2 ass at the final of a semi?
Stepping on or inside the line in the first 100m of an 800 is such an easy thing to not do. Objectively embarrassing. Nobody should feel bad for Wes. This is kindergarten stuff. How hard is it to run in your lane for 100m? just like the Washington guy at NCAAs. Do these elite 800m runners need their hand held around the first turn?

Ajee didn’t look good. Nia the favorite Imo.
I saw it differently. Ajeé looked smooth to me and appeared to be taking it easy approaching the line knowing she was in the top 3. Akins ran needlessly hard to win that semi.
Nice run for Norwood!

Tough to ask collegiate athletes to match up against pros who are only peaking now.
True but Abby Steiner seemed much better last year after a long season. She seems to be a good bit off this season of what she was last season. We’ll see how she does but I’m wondering if she’ll make the team this year.
1st men's 400 semi was smokin- Norwood in 44.43.

That 44.4 looked easy!
This Deadmon fella has a tendency to run his 2nd 100 in under 10 seconds

Or for a billionaire's vanity.
I really like the new stadium, but come on Uncle Phil, you spent all that money and no rain cover! No rain cover in Eugene?
I'm going with Quincy Hall in heat 2.
Donald Scott only guy to go 17m in mTJ, barely making WCS, finally.
Has there been a comparable collapse in talent to match this in US field event history?
Yulimar, on a good day, would have beaten four of the dorks here.
Boling made final, well done. Thought he may struggle.
Missouri boys 1-2 in 2nd semi.
How many 400 sprinters will they take to worlds given there's two relays (men's + mixed)?
SML has the biggest resting b!tch face on the circuit.

OMG. This empty stadium is a humiliation . Paris trials need to be moved.
Like any other US city could muster a better crowd on a Friday evening in July. What fantasy world do you live in?
