It's curious the level of proof you would accept is a photo you deem not to be CGI found via Google. It's a trap, because Google images are displayed where-- on your digital computer! I can't speak for so many people, but from personal experience, I can explain why I "believe in satellites".
I have worked the last 37 years in the satellite industry, first supporting a satellite the USA sent to map Venus, and then supporting the launch and operations of around 80 more communications satellites. In that time, I have seen many satellites under construction, I have seen them put into rocket capsules, and watched rocket launches from South America, from the USA, and even from Kazhakstan. I have never visited NASA or any government agency, with the sole exception when I worked with JPL, but I have visited the European Space Agency, and many private satellite construction companies in the USA and in France, and satellite operators in Japan, the UK, Sweden, the Netherlands, Germany and Luxembourg, and worked with other satellite operators from Australia, Japan, Indonesia, and the UK.
But sure, you may ask, how can I be sure what I saw being built on the ground and put in a rocket capsule, on top of a rocket that I personally saw being launched, is really proof of a satellite orbiting in space? Well I have developed systems which measure the orbits of satellites, working with a team to develop equipment and constructing antennas that send a signal up into space, and receive the signal back a fraction of a second later, working out all the calculations to determine it's distance and position. There are several different technologies for doing so, and they all work according to global coordinates pointing at satellites orbiting some 22,000 miles high at the equator.
What do we use satellites for? One purpose is to watch TV. 100s of millions of homeowners can go to the store and buy a satellite receiver and antenna, and then point it at the sky. Even flat earthers can buy a receiver and an antenna, and see for themselves. I'm sure many satellite dish homeowners would have a hard time believing satellites are not real, given the thousands of TV programs that they can receive from an antenna pointed at the sky. I have helped friends install such a satellite antenna, and can assure you that the antennas are pointed upwards at the sky, at pretty much the same angle, which is straightforward to calculate, using global coordinates and pointing to a satellite orbiting the earth. This would not be possible with some land antennas, unless they were 22,000 miles high, at the equator.
What would such a hoax cost? Well I worked for a satellite constructor which employed about 9,000 people, and this is one of many dozens if not hundreds of satellite construction companies, and I have worked for satellite operators, of which there must be thousands, and I have worked with many companies developing systems for satellites. The cost of procuring a single satellite, and launch costs private operators a couple hundred million dollars. What is the gain for such a hoax?
And what do you got? You have doubts that Google images are not CGI, and you think "NASA is lying". Why exactly? Because you have been indoctrinated by youtube "researchers"?

If you turn out the lights and rub your eyes, you'll "see" lots of things. But you are conditioned to interpret that as seeing stars or whatever, because you can't touch, smell, hear or otherwise sense these stars to corroborate seeming to see them.

Things flat-earthers can do to "prove" the existence, or not, of satellites and flat-earth:
- Direct to home, satellite TV exists everywhere, as 100s of millions of satisfied TV viewers can confirm. Any flat-earther can buy the equipment themselves, and install the fixed antenna in the comfort of their own home. As an added bonus exercise, the scientists/mathemeticions among them should compute, and publish their calculations, in which direction to point the fixed antenna towards the source of the signal using flat-earth coordinates, and not the globe-earth computed coordinates for them.
- In the spirit of "the horizon ALWAYS rises to eye-level", flat-earthers can go to any hill of modest height of 1000 ft., with a clear view of the distant horizon (approx. 40 miles on a globe-earth), and easily measure and confirm for themselves whether the horizon drops off, or truly rises to eye-level. A drop-off of 0 degrees would confirm the flat-earth. Astronomers did this 1000 years ago.
Things flat-earthers can do that prove nothing:

- Clutter running forums with unproven conspiracy theories

Once again -- wasn't this a thread about why people "believe" in satellites? I saw a couple of compelling responses above. The GPS in my car shows me a graphical display of all the GPS satellites in its view. Oh -- that's CGI and part of the hoax, my bad.
Research Globe Earth. Flat Earth models were replaced by astronomers 2,800 years ago in favor of a spherical earth.
Astronomers estimated the radius of the globe earth 2,500 years before the invention of planes and the existence of pilots. This was based on observations of constellations of stars in some places but not others, comparing shadows in different places at the same time, and observing horizons below eye-level when the observer is at elevation, long before the invention of planes, balloons, and satellites, and the recent cult of Zetetic Astronomy.
Planes experience forces in all directions, and pilots use a feedback loop that keeps altitude and attitude stable, according to their instruments. It is simple a matter of putting the horizontal stabilizers in a slightly different position that makes the plane arc -- no further adjustments would be necessary.
Here's a question for these 19 pilots. On a flat-earth, similar nose pointing logic would dictate pilots keep pointing the nose left, or right, when flying in East-West or West-East directions, to follow the circularity of the flat earth. Surely these 19 pilots have confirmed the need for such left-right nose pointing.
