That's what I just said. I'm not talking about a "superior method" to fight someone...there's a lot of things that can work pretty good, if somebody knows how to handle themselves. But the point is a lot of people don't.

I was drawing on my experience as a boxer because it has proven beyond a doubt that just being a "tough guy" means you will get your ass kicked. Being a tough guy who knows how to handle himself and doesn't lose his shit when things get a little hairy...these guys win every time, I don't care if they're some amateur high school athlete or the Ninja master of the universe. It takes thick skin (figuratively) to get into a fight and take a punch. Lots of people haven't developed that. Lots of other people have it but just swing wildly. Both of the above get their asses kicked by people who can do both.

As far as the thread subject...what happened with the fight? Even if this is fake, I wanna hear what happens. How about an update from the author?

I call bullshit on this girl. If she really trained with Nakayama then you're getting your ass killed. Problem is, he died in 1987. You said that she's been training for like 20 years. Considering the fact that Nakayama only took a handful of students from around the world, she wouldve had to be pretty damn good at this point. The problem is she wouldve had to have been atleast a 1st Dan. Which means she's been spending the last 20 years working on 2 Dans. There's too many flaws in this story to take seriously.

Well we met at her dojo this afternoon and I thought I was going to be aggressive and ready but she absolutely fcuked me up. I lunged at her when we squared off, but she was able to sidestep me. You guys were right, she was much quicker than I gave her credit for.

She took out my kneecap and that buckled my leg. By the time all was said and done she had pretty much gone tornado on me. I have a shattered knee, f five broken ribs, a broken nose, missing two teeth and bloody lips. She said "You're lucky I didn't kick ya in the nuts or kill you ya asshole!" and walked out.

This was truly embarrasing. I look like hell right now. I can run for six months to a year. I am typing this from my lap-top in the ER. What a bad trip this was for me.
