Bit sad. Best of the Gjert athletes/former Gjert athletes is Narve Gilje Nordaas at the end of the first field. Filip stopped now. His brother might follow him?

6:32ish at halfaway in men's 5000. Klecked needs to push it if hew ants to break 13:00.
Klecker hanging in there with 6 to go. Pace has slowed.
I do not care about long jump or pole vault. Show the f***ing race.

Better than a commercial break with 4 laps to go
What a trash race.
Klecker 4th in 13:04.9
Was really competitive throughout
Klecker went for it and ended up in 4th. Started his sprint a bit early. Great effort.
Great run by Klecker, imo? Looked very fresh at the last surge!
Great race by Klecker, bummer it slowed. Just keep the pacers in longer!
Yeah solid run by Klecker. What a weird race though. People dropping out. People falling off pace within the first mile. I'll forget about that race in about 20 minutes.
Joe MF Klecker!! Finishes in a close fourth place in 13:04. Very competitive with the top Ethiopians. Wow. One second from first place. Takes some scalps along the way...Maru, Mengesha, Mechaal...

RAYNER Jack
13:06.00PB
13:34.68 prior PB
Rayner pushed the pace late and deserves some recognition for not letting the pace lag.
Allen just eases in. Easy win, but definitely doesn't look pleased with it.
Allen traveled a long way for a 13.22 but a win is a win. Slight headwind, hit some hurdles.
Great fitness from Klecker, but he'll learn from that and improve tactically. With 3 laps to go I thought he did way too much swinging wide and yo-yo-ing around. Also started to sprint a bit early. If he can learn a bit more patience, poise and relaxation he is going to be a lot better than I could have thought.

Agree. Think this was valuable experience before worlds and well worth the travel.
