Boyfriend managed to get us two for 7/24. Logged in yesterday at noon, via the Ticketmaster app. No clue how he experienced no issues.
We also jumped on an Air B&B later in the day.

No trouble for me either. Snagged tickets for me and the fam for the 18th and 19th. I am as excited as one can be for something more than a year away.
Has anyone been able to buy tickets for Days 9 & 10 (july 23 & 24) in the pre-sale?
If so, how did you do it? In other words, has anyone been able to purchase tickets for the ENTIRETY of the champs during the pre-sale?
Anyone?
I have tickets for the last 2 days. When the portal opened I bought the last day tickets first because I assumed everyone would be going in order from day 1 and working their way to day 10. I worked my way backwards. It was pure chaos and I had a lot of good seats disappear as I was about to buy them but I somehow found four seats available in decent spots.

Airbnbs dont go on sale until a year ahead of time... you sure you are telling the truth about this?
After hour and 40 minutes of nothing I switched to my phone and within 30 minutes had to 2 to 5 tickets to all 10 evenings plus day 2 and 3 am sessions. The entire issue was use of apps or not and which devices Ticketbasterd was syncing with. I filed a claim of fraud with Oregon AG office today.

Lol where did you get that info? I also have an Airbnb. I think you are on the wrong website.
How much to reserve a spot at the Wild Duck bar on a Friday/Saturday for world's?

The boyfriend said the same thing because his crap phone only showed dates through June 2022. My iPhone and our laptops showed dates beyond that.
Here is my Experience:
I was able to log-in yesterday from my workstation and a high-speed Comcast feed from my home and buy a pair of tickets to Day #8 and Day #9 with no issues. I was able to get excellent seats in sections 106 and 108. While I was online buying them, it appeared that these PRE-SALE tickets were going fast!
Today, I log back in just before 9:00AM PST to buy tickets to Day #10 (since I was able to get Hotel accomnodations for 3 days). I am put into a que that says there are 76 people. No more than 20 seconds go by and I receive a new web page of GENERAL INFO, and not the typical purchase page when I had hit the button for "See Tickets" the previous day. This went on for a full hour, as I kept trying and refreshing till no end.
Other days tickets were still available, but the final Day #10 appeared to either have a technical glitch due to huge demand, or the allotment of tickets allocated for PRE-SALE were already sold within one minute of me logging in.
I sent some emails off to Oregon22 tickets, but the replies appeared pretty clueless.
They told me that "certain sessions were selling fast" (duh) and to check back at 9am.
I was on the early list and got the notification promptly at 12 noon. When I went to look for tkts at 12:01PM, not one seat was available around the finish line on any day's events. I asked myself, why bother? So I didn't bother.
Once again, WANDA is up to its usual corrupt practices. It does not care that revenue is being lost as it is prohibiting people who are willing to buy tickets from attending.
A stupid place to hold a global championships. Where will thousands of visitors and hundreds of athletes be accommodated? Pitching of tents in the woods?

Nah, it'll get worked out. We'll all squeeze in somehow, and the new Hayward Field is a fantastic venue for a WC, you'll see.

Depending on how many days you plan to attend, it might be worth looking into a hotel in Portland or in a neighboring city and just driving in. It wouldn't be the end of the world and the money you would save renting in Eugene would probably cover the cost of the rental car.
And give yourself a nice four hour commute each day.
Yeah, sorry, but terrible advice. Stay as close to Hayward as possible. No more than walking distance. Place will be crawling with elites, coaches, officials, athlete's families....It's wall to wall track fantasy land there.

Nada. Easy peasy.
The real issue next summer won’t be lodging (many athletes and all officials and many others being put into dorms) rather restaurants to handle the demand for food for post meet sessions. Meet better provide dozens of food options at the area outside the stadium or it will be a complete cluster. Local meet organizers also need to inform area food providers of the schedule and the need for places to stay open late. Always a problem in Eugene but nothing this scale ever held with 30,000 fans a day.
1 more question. Proof that Shelby is a cheat wrote:

There won't be 30,000 people there per day. Oregon needs to do a serious rehab of their international image. It's bad enough here in the US with networks spinning things for political reasons, but other countries simply report the bad stuff that happens here and what they saw of Oregon looked like a warzone as it was presented to them. When there are fires in California, I have relatives over seas that call in a panic because they think the entire state is on fire. Worlds will be empty unless there is a major change in the coronavirus status and the image of Oregon and the entire USA for that matter.
Tickets are available now and much easier than it was on Wednesday. I used my phone and the Ticketmaster app and had zero trouble; just selected the seats and bought. Didn't get kicked out of the purchase screen and didn't have to select the ticket insurance either.
Speaking of the ticket insurance, someone asked about the refund policy. I checked the e-mail and it says:
If you’re not completely satisfied, you have 15 days (or more, depending on your state of residence) to request a refund, provided you haven’t departed for the event or initiated a claim. Premiums are non-refundable after this period. For customer service, please call: 1-800-424-3396 (From U.S.) 1-804-281-5700 (Outside U.S./Collect)
Haven't actually tried yet, but seems like calling is the way to get the refund.
My ticket purchase went very SMOOTHLY this morning at 9AM Pacific Time.
I added to my purchase of Wednesday when I bought tickets for Day #8 and Day #9.
However, the Oregon22 World Athletics website did not allow me to login (again), so I headed directly to Ticketmaster and logged into my account there.
Today, I was able to get a pair of tickets for the Sunday morning and evening session of the final day, Day #10.
Section 106 along the backstretch. I've been told by coaches who have been at the new Hayward Field that it is simply AMAZING with big seats and generous leg room. Might have to make some reservations at Bepe & Gianni's Trattoria too.
I now have a pair of tickets for the final 3 days.... Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with accommodations in nearby Springfield for $140 per night + the 11% hotel tax.
:)

At Worlds in Doha in 2019, many tickets at prime finish line locations were taken out of inventory. Wanda then gave them to athletes' agents and other admin staff and journalists ( (Almost two rows were sitting next to me). On a couple of nights, seats were given away freely to Qataris. They could not be purchased as you were told there was no availability. So instead of generating revenues by fans willing to purchase the events were probably loss making. I assume this always happens.

The stadium may be a fantastic place for the events, but the town is a crappy little, podunk place. It is damn ridiculous holding it in such a place that does not have room availability for thousands of visitors nor the tourist infrastructure. I'm bypassing Worlds in Eugene and saving funds for Prague.

You bought tickets on the back straight... Are you into jumps or something?
