Focusing on it being name-calling instead is another straw man. It may be name calling too, but the more important thing is it's just false. A man who thinks he's a woman isn't, whether he or anyone else wants him to be one or not.
It's simple , to say I don't believe males who identify as females should compete with me as a real female, or my daughter or some random girl I empathize with or the collective of random girls I empathize with ,....is not transphobic. it's an opinion the name caller doesn't like and turns to bullying by name calling.
