LOL- mods deleted yet ANOTHER 100% factual post above. Unbelievable.
Cant handle reality. LOL
Recap:
Milley more talking about diplomacy.
He admitted a military victory is out of reach.
Winter is here, with 40% of the country’s power destroyed.
BRICS applications on the rise.
US hegemony will be challenged HARD in coking years.
We told you so. In February 2022.
Flagpole is a mod. He can't handle the truth.
Nope. I am not a moderator. Wejo even mentioned it recently when yet someone else accused me of being a moderator. Not sure why you plebians think I am a moderator here. I'm not a moderator. I have never been a moderator. I would never accept being a moderator if asked.
And, I have no idea what truth you think I can't handle, but I can handle any truth.
“The report reads: “One official explained that the State Department is on the opposite side of the pole from Milley. That dynamic has led to a unique situation where military brass are more fervently pushing for diplomacy than US diplomats.”
It’s almost like the generals can see that there is no path to victory for Ukraine, only more death and destruction.
80,000 dead Russians agree that there's no path to victory for Russia, only more death, destruction, and war crimes.
Putin's goals:
demilatarization --> Ukraine now has a larger, stronger military than any time in the past.
creating a buffer from NATO expansion --> Ukraine is closer to joining NATO than prior to Russia's invasion, and Sweden and Finland are both going NATO.
annex Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson oblasts --> Russia doesn't even control these regions (in fact, they control less territory now than they did on March 1st)
create a legacy --> yup, he'll now be mentioned besides other genocidal maniacs, like Hitler.
Since Russia has accomplished ZERO of its goals, how do you think they are going to win?

Probably by starting WW3 with their nuclear arsenal. They believe they can win a WW3 scenario by destroying NATO & having acceptable losses while preserving most of their country. Their nuclear arsenal is far better than anything we have.
Putin doesn't have anything to lose. He's losing badly this conventional war & he's a war criminal who would be tried by an international tribunal.

Kyiv’s aviators have demonstrated incredible bravery, strapping into their cockpits, day after grueling day, to battle a much better-armed foe. You don’t have to create ghost pilots to celebrate Ukraine’s actual pilots.

There is no chance that Russia is going to go nuclear, and even China has told Putin that using a tactical nuke would be crossing the line.

So, still nothing to contribute or contradict that Russia has accomplished ZERO of it's prewar goals. Didn't your dear leader Putin claim Kherson would be Russia "forever" like a month ago? It wasn't part of Russia then. It's not part of Russia now.
Let me guess, you think the Moskva is still floating around the Black Sea?
Winter is here, with 40% of the country’s power destroyed.
BRICS applications on the rise.
Due to endless Russian failures, these pro-Russia guys like troll-Heartlesss are actually reduced to cheering the only "victories" that the Russia military is capable of -- bombing civilian infrastructure in Ukraine from afar (i.e., committing war crimes).
I don't see Ukrainians changing their minds about Russia's invasion just because Russia blows up some of the power grid. Ukrainians have proven they are willing to sacrifice a LOT more than just electrical power to defend against the Russian invasion of their country.
I think Russia knows the war crimes are not a game-changer. As much as Russians enjoy terrorizing innocent people, at some point, they have to worry about the cost-benefit to using all these missiles up (among other things).
That's a tricky one since on the one hand it was part of Ukraine...on the other hand my understanding is that there is a very large number of actual Russians there who might legit want to be part of Russia.
At least that's my understanding.
This war could end with UKR taking back the entire mainland and a blockade of Crimea.
You may find this informative. It's long, but cuts through a lot of the superficial Putin propaganda on Crimea.

Why is there no chance? Give some evidence instead of your personal opinion.
And Putin doesn't give a flying F what China says. Russia's nukes could obliterate China before they would know what even hit him.
As I said before - Putin has nothing to lose by pushing the button:
Is he not a war criminal? Would he not be brought before an international tribunal where he would be tried, convicted & sentenced to death? Is Putin not getting his butt kicked in this conventional war by Ukraine & the U.S.?
You're dealing with a crazy dictator here. Better brush up on history with the likes of Hitler, Tojo, Mussolini, etc.
As I said before - Putin has nothing to lose by pushing the button:
Life, money, power, family. Putin has everything to lose by going nuclear, and this taking point is the stupidest one that keeps getting dragged back up every time the Kremlin starts losing on the battlefield.
If Putin has nothing to lose, then how do you explain this photo?

I have heard a very solid theory that RU's generals pushed for war because they were well aware that RU's armed forces had been disintegrated by decades of corruption and a crooked patronage system where people with connections were awarded military leadership posts and anyone who was actually competent would get pushed aside. The generals pushed for war with Ukraine because they did not want anyone to discover the rot in RU's armed forces. They knew that UA would receive support from NATO and would be able to defend the country. But they pushed for war in order to get RU into a mobilization so that RU's armed forces could basically be rebuilt on the fly. RU industry is in the process of being mobilized to support the war effort. And battle experience would help end the system of patronage and allow war heroes to be elevated to leadership positions. Also, Putin and the political leadership were facing a potential crisis of satellite states like Kazakhstan and Belarus having a contagion of revolts against their authoritarian leadership. War with Ukraine has allowed the Russian kleptocracy to morph into a garrison state where Putin is able to strike down anyone who opposes him with emergency war powers.
RU wants a long conflict with Ukraine and sees Russia's history in the battles of Leningrad and Stalingrad from WWII as examples of how to win (basically send hundreds of thousands of ill equipped and trained soldiers off to certain death in order to wear down the enemy. You see exactly that in how RU is fighting in Bakhmut and in the battle for the Svatove/Kreminna corridor. RU has two lines on its front. One with soldiers launching futile offensives over and over and another to shoot deserters from the front lines. RU thinks that it will be able to outlast UA by sowing division amongst its allies over winter energy supplies and pushing a far left/far right movement in the US against funding UA's war effort.
If the conflict went nuclear, if anyone survived, the post-nuclear Russia would be devastated and RU could no longer justify a garrison state as everyone would be scrambling to survive. Moscow and St. Petersburg would be lost. The rest of RU would quickly disintegrate as lesser affected republics would cut off the western power center of Moscow and St. Petersburg in order to capitalize on natural resources and to settle age old scores against the Soviets.
Some analysis from legit military experts suggests the Poland missiles were UKR missiles, not Russian. Too early to say but don’t get too worked up about this. Fog of war.

The link below contains some funny internal Russian calculations. I can't for the life of me see how a delay in announcing yet another cowardly retreat in Ukraine helps Russia at all -- we're all used to these things now -- but Russians apparently believe differently. Four dimensional Russian chess on display again . . . .
