If anyone out there has been directly or indirectly threatened by Mike Rossi, or involved in an altercation, please provide details to the Philadelphia Attorney General's office

[include Docket Number: MC-51-CR-0024712-2017 in subject line], explaining that his Latest arrest is not the exception, but more a rule and way of life for this individual. Providing examples of verifiable postings could go a long way, such as from Twitter and Facebook. One was just posted here where he said "everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face." He has posted about making stops by people's homes, etc. Postings from LR are a little trickier given that they are anon, but some have been verified or rise to the level of there is no doubt who posted it and can be verified if need be.

Keep anything submitted professional and on point and which can demonstrate and show that he threatened people, including children, bullied people and children, his misogynistic postings (dislike of, contempt for, or ingrained prejudice against women), called into question paternity, and demonstrated he lied, even since his arrest with his two twitter accounts. This information may be the difference of between the charges being dropped if the victim is too scared to testify and not being dropped if the DA can see that was not an isolated incident and that his behavior has escalated and will continue to do so. Think about it, the Kenny Cheney concert he was arrested for criminal trespass, after given ample opportunity to leave the premises by the arena personnel and then similarly the police. Fast forward one year, he is charged with simple assault, of a woman no less! One shudders to think what is next given that he carries.

Triathleteguru got these kind of threats, not sure if that was the case with this one as I don't see a date.

His assorted "defenders" have gone strangely quiet, curious how they all operate at once or not.

It's amazing to me that in situations like this a simple admission of guilt, apologies to those affected and an honest request of forgiveness is so hard to do. In a large number of these type of cases it makes all of the troubles go away and often times it even opens up doors.

Ask yourself, beyond a persons ego, why would they not do any of the above? In my opinion it is only to harbor anger and resentment and to use that to intimidate or threaten once again. In some weird way I think he believes that if these accusations go away, that will be proof enough that he ran the qualifying race. The Via results stand, he completed Boston and those things will never be changed. Food for thought; The fitness mom went away, the Miami marathon girl went away but this continues on.

No doubt Mike has been schooled to shut up until Monday and practice shedding crocodile tears in the meantime. Maybe develop a lip quiver.

He has such a vested interest and so committed in the lies that he can't admit to cheating now. Plus, its the George Constanza line to some extent, "just remember Jerry, it's not a lie if you believe it". Lance Armstrong denied he cheated for years, and during that time he threatened and intimidated anyone who said otherwise.

Rossi hangs on to the Committee's statement and tries to equivocate that to being found innocent or cleared of anything. They never affirmed that he ran the race! They never addressed the biggest issue, that he was missing from every single photo analyzed, and the only "runner" with that dubious distinction. Sadly and unfortunately, if the charges are dropped or dismissed in this case because the "victim" does not want to cooperate, then he will equivocate that into being found innocent. Unfortunately, since he likely missed too much school as well to understand our legal system (although quite a few people suffer from this lack of knowledge), even in a trial when one is found not guilty, that does not mean the same thing as innocent. Not guilty does not equal innocent.

While I agree with what you are saying with regard to the spin Rossi puts on things (although he's likely the only one who believes his spin), a fundamental tenant of the legal system is that a person is innocent until proven guilty. It can end up creating a bit of a paradox between reality and the legal system, but no system is perfect. So, in the legal system not guilty does mean the person remains innocent, it just doesn't mean the person didn't actually commit the offence of which they were accused.

What beautiful kids. I hope Mike can get his life back on track and save his family.

Actually, one is not innocent until proven guilty, but instead there is a presumption of innocence until proven guilty. There is a difference and its more than semantics. So when there is video of someone committing a crime, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty and it gets reported that Mr. X allegedly did xyz. If he is found not guilty by some means or if the case was thrown out because of a technicality, he is not innocent.

"Factual guilt" versus "legal innocence". Does anyone think that because OJ was found not guilty that he was innocent?
