For whatever reason, that story makes me wonder: If you asked those who have studied democracies imploding, is ours going faster, slower, or the same as average? Because holy hell, it sure does FEEL awfully fast.
I feel like the word of the decade/century for America should be "latent." Trump has come along and released and shown us all the massive, massive latent shortcomings of our citizenry.
