I assume our man Robert is reading this thread. I wonder what he is thinking? Does he really think he can somehow wiggle his way out this? Unless this investigation is a sham (and the identity of the investigators suggests that it is not), then he is going to be very badly exposed.

I suppose there may still be a few sycophants that still "believe in him" after this is all over. But Rob has gotta know that his life is now changing for the worse.

Even if/when Skins declare him a cheat, i'm still not convinced his fans will drop him, and they are the ones that give him money and attention - which is what he mainly craves.

You see this ultra runner here has just been officially caught cheating/doping, but if you read the translations of comments on his page, his fans are saying very similar to RY's fans, ie saying "ignore the haters they are just jealous and they envy you".

So even someone officially declared a cheat is STILL hero worshipped.

I did a half marathon in the Lake District when Adam did the marathon, so added him as a friend on FaceBook.

A friend of Adam's was doing an ultramarathon and said he was hoping to follow in Rob Young's footsteps. I then commented, that he should say no to any SKINS in employee who was driving a vehicle and offering him a lift, and Adam then de-friended me! So whilst he isn't defending RY, he isn't encouraging people to attack him either.

Apologies if this has been posted before but I don't remember seeing it, no evidence but an honest account of someone seeing an average runner on the brink of collapse. Everyone says that he's a "nice guy" but aren't all conmen?

It's almost old news. The skins investigation will only result in him keeping or loosing his sponsor. Adam will run with him again, and the kids will benefit. His book sales will eventually reach triple numbers. And as for the shirt Laz lent him....eBay.

It will pick up to 80 miles a night speed once Ross's report lands on Jaimie's desk. Dustbin has coached Rob to steer clear of social media until that happens.

Yes they are, but RY deletes most negative posts very quickly.

Having a sponsor means he keeps his funded lifestyle. Once he gets dumped and no other sponsor will touch him, then his freebie life and not having to work is over.

I hope the investigation is done properly. If it is, RY is finished - toast.

Adam Holland is in on this scam for sure. He knows what's going on.

He dumps anyone doubting RY, and therefore i class this as defending him.

There is little reason for Adam to do anything than keep quiet, the report will do enough. No reason to try and tarnish other people reps just because they were in contact with Rob.

He is with RY and against us.

There's no need to polarize things with us vs. them talk. To be 'with' someone doesn't mean agreeing with his every opinion. And disagreeing with some opinions isn't the same as being against on the substantive issues.

This thread is grinding to a halt and that's unfortunate. It seems RY has gone into hiding both online and on the racing circuit. Perhaps we'll see less of him now that he won't be receiving as many freebies.

When do we expect the final report out? Also, any word on the two-hour ESPN/CCTV prime time special about how he's doing it all for the children? I imagine if there was any footage recorded, it was tossed into the bin long ago.

Next step is busting his lies about childhood abuse. The mother and sister are on facebook. I wonder what they have to say on the subject.
