Has anyone see the x ray of his toe?
I have. It looks like when you skewer a sausage with a stick so you can roast it over a fire, but then the stick breaks before the sausage is hot enough to put in a bun. Then the sausage is floppy and cold and not really good for anything at all.At least that's what it reminded me of.

There, he lived in Cheshunt (Hertfordshire) which seems to be where he still considered himself based in 2004, given that newspaper article of the time. Not sure which school, or if he went to the school where Mr Wells taught.
Peter John Wells was the deputy head of St Marks School, Harlow ( 5 miles from Cheshunt ). St Marks is a secondary school for 11-18 year olds. However, he become head of St Joseph’s Catholic School in Swindon in 1991. That’s a 2 hour commute from Cheshunt, so I’d presume that he also moved. He’s certainly on the 2002 electoral register in Swindon.
Rob states in his book that he first met Peter when he was almost 12 years old. That would be the summer of 1994. If Rob was in Cheshunt, he could have gone to St Marks, but that wouldn't have been Peter Wells's school. Peter may have given Rob guidance, but I don't think he played such a big part in his life.
Or the timeline in the book is not 100% accurate.
I would say that he is still in Swindon

“I started to put the wheels in motion to join the RAUSA team in January 2015. It meant a lot of hustling and organising. I needed to get funding and to know that Joanna and Buddy would be OK without me. She decided to go back to Poland to stay with her mum for a while; Buddy loved it there and they could live cheaply and well. It was a good plan and would mean I didn’t have to worry about them too much.
Then I had the small matter of raising the money to enter the race, which, including flights and everything else, came to about £10,000. I got some money through from my sponsor, Sense Core, which covered most of it.â€
Marathon Man: One Man, One Year, 370 Marathons
Very interesting. Finally someone who owns the book?
By the way: we need to focus on Alistair Parkes, Rob's first manager. He played a key role.
In the book he is called "Ali".
"Raising money to help kids? Inspiring people to exercise? Count me in. Twice over. So I arranged through Jo to meet Ali in late spring of 2012 to see how I could help with the event. Five minutes after meeting Ali, I got swept up by his infectious enthusiasm."
[ ... ]
"That year I helped Ali with the fundraiser by using some of my pro-cycling connections at the time. I drove a couple of road bikes, donated by a local cycling shop, up to the Manchester Velodrome, where I got them signed by Chris Hoy, Jason Kenny and other members of the GB cycling team."

RY was already inspiring the kids in 2012?

Runs in the family...
Anticipating a beating was the worst thing. I remember Dad would come home from work and I'd be upstairs in my room. He worked as a fundraiser for a children's charity. I'd hear him at the door fumbling around with his keys, swearing and muttering to himself. Usually he was drunk, which meant I was pretty much guaranteed a beating unless he fell asleep first.

Are you fvcking kidding me?
A fundraiser for a children's charity who is beating his own child?
I don't believe one word of his fake child abuse story.
"Anyway, they named me Robert, after my dad: Robert Harvey Paul Young."
Should have called him Robert RV Paul Young.
"Thirteen days into my running and I'd done 17 Richmond Park marathons, including two double marathons."
Maybe my math is off, but shouldn't this be 15 marathons? Or did he four doubles?
"The day ended up raising a staggering £50,000 for the school's new playground, which is some kind of record for a primary school fundraiser."
Some kind of record... Sure.
If I have 13 sausages,
and cut two in half,
how many pieces do I have?
How many SKINS interns can I feed with them?
I just tried this. No matter how I sliced the sausages, it was only enough to feed one intern.

Going by the very early gaps in Strava on his way across the country does anyone think they would have felt pressure to continue even though they RY may have have been stuffed very early on?
Maybe the plan was fake it as long as possible to build up some hype and publicity for Skins and RY and then pull out short of the finish. Just trying to get my head around how 2 other guys would be happy to cheat.
This would kind explain the ridiculous disregard for data recording while cheating. Maybe they figured if they abandoned later none of it would be needed. Lets face it with such rubbish data ain't no official records getting set.
Maybe I'm being too nice and they are just dodgy.
Sponsorship contracts always have some type of ethics or morality clause. Depending on the wording of the contract Skins may be able to require RY to refund all or part of the funds that Skins has given him to stage this event.
Sponsorship contracts also have confidentiality agreements so we will never hear about it.

Hmmm, this Peter Wells, is shown in the 2000's electoral registers as living with an Angela, Richard, Andrew and Philip. The public marriage and birth records show that Peter J Wells married Angela McCann in 1979 and had three children - Richard 1983, Andrew 1984 and Philip 1987.
From the RY story book
“Peter . . . He worked as the deputy headmaster at a private school . . . He didn’t have any family of his own and we enjoyed each other’s company . . . By the time I was 13, Peter had applied to be my legal guardian so I moved into his house and out of the children’s home for goodâ€
So, it must of been the other 66 year old deputy headmaster Peter Wells, that took young Rob Young in.

Excellent investigation. Keep reading and checking those electoral registers.

Ah, so that's where Rob got the idea that you could make a living as a fundraiser. Like father like son.
“The Book†says that Rob met Peter Wells at an athletics club where he was the high jump coach.
There’s a Peter Wells at Enfield and Haringey Athletics Club. Power of 10 shows him as the coach of some high jumpers and pole vaulters. His LinkedIn profile says he was ‘Senior Master’ at Kebel Prep School, Enfield until 1994. Since then, he’s been the owner of “PGW Photographyâ€, in West Chestnut.
