No doubt this will be an attempted line of defense. Fortunately they blogged about his incredible distances and logged enough other runs they'll have to say we're legit that I'm sure they/we can plug holes in that argument with ease. They're liars, case closed.

A brief description of the how the investigation will work, as noted in the terms of reference (https://issuu.com/skinscompression/docs/terms_of_reference_final/1?e=16420276/36889044)

1. The investigation will be carried out from July 1 - August 31 . That is two months, a long time considering its been less than a month since this whole thing started.

2. The findings will be jointly published by September 30th. Meaning we might not hear ANYTHING from Skins or the investigators until this time, three months from now.

3. They will be accepting submissions for 10 days after the public announcement of the investigation. Meaning that we need to get any pieces of evidence submitted by July 10th. With the blog submitted I think we are mostly covered, but there might still be good factoids outstanding.

4. The investigators will be interviewing Rob as well as Dustin, Micheal, other runners, and eye witnesses. We might try and come up with a few tough questions for Dustin and Micheal.

I think most all Ultrarunners must agree. However, most are not going to speak up publicly because it would appear to be sour grapes.

UK ultra runners threw Mark Vaz to the wolves for cheating LEJOG. But he was outed by their own. They are reluctant to shame RY because they hate lets run. Had lets run shown more respect to ultra runners, i can guarantee the ultra runners in the uk that consider themselves the "running Gods" would have got fully behind you with this.

I am from the uk and I KNOW RY is an egotistical lying cheat, i am also an ultra runner. But we cant speak out in the uk as the running Gods there won;t allow it and our posts are generally deleted or threads locked.

Had the likes of James Adams and Mark Cockbain and Neil Brie condemed RY, you would find ALL ultra runners in the uk would too, They are like sheep. The main reason RY still has a big fanbase over here is because people like Mark Cockbain said of him "sounds legit". And he's done a transcon.

Cockbain thinks it's okay if he did cheat anyway, & says its irrelevant if he did, as "he has to live with that". No Mark, if he gets away with this SCAM, he gets to keep his funded lifestyle and free gear, trips, bills paid, etc.

UK are being ridiculous over this, especially when you consider the frenzy over Vaz

One of the nice things about Jaimie Fuller having Pielke and Tucker examine this is that when they document and certify the cheating (and I have no doubt they will), runners and media sources won't be hesitant to speak about it for fear of being labeled haters. It won't be seen as an online witch hunt by a bunch of anonymous internet trolls.

The Pielke and Tucker report will be heavy on details and I expect news sources then will simplify it and run with it.

Initially, when Fuller said he would appoint an independent investigator, I thought he was pulling a corporate trick to get someone to say the data was inconclusive. Now, I realize this could be the best thing to publicly expose and document the scam that took place.

Three months!, they're kidding, this thread will have died, we'll have moved on, Mike Rossi will have been headlines news another two or three times in that period, etc, etc, so who's going to care by then?

You do understand that this is above and beyond the work and research that Pielke and Tucker normally do, don't you? It's not like they can just drop everything and work only on this. I'm sure Tucker is much more concerned about analyzing the Tour de France (July) and the Olympics (August) than this. If I were Tucker or Pielke and unfamiliar with the whole event, I'd want at least 2-3 months also, especially if I was assigned the task of making the definitive and conclusive statement about what took place.

Aside from this scam, it would be good to keep looking into his life and exposing more of his lies and dodgy background and getting it all in a blog to expose him fully.

How hard would it be to track down his family or childhood friends/neighbors or social workers? He's not that old, aren't his father and mother still alive? Surprised British tabloids haven't run with this. It's how they make their coin.

Seems like they're confirming every thing and more that's been said about them here, i.e. precious, over sensitive souls who take themselves way, way, way too seriously, bit like masters runners, race walkers and hobby joggers.
