I love this part of the SKINS/RY contract:
"The Sports Partner will not wear any competitor compression or sportswear garments to the Products during the Term. This term does not include footwear."
So either Rob violated the contract by running in a white dress shirt, or SKINS does not see Van Heusen as a competitor. I wonder how they feel about the tattered cotton socks he chose over their compression wear?

Ross Tucker was pursued by Pistorius' team way back when, but declined to join them and wrote a number of articles critical of that whole scam. Ditto Caster Semenya. This has made him somewhat controversial at home in South Africa.
He is potentially an excellent choice.
However,the other Sports Scientist, Jonathan Dugas, is an idiot. He tried to convince me of the athleticism involved in curling, babbling on about muscle memory and stamina. By his reckoning, Itzhak Perlman is a world class athlete.

I think that Ross Tucker is a perfect choice, well respected with a true understanding of what is feasible and willing to research and present findings clearly to the masses. As others have said he has been critical of Semenya and Pistorious and their attempts to claim they don't have advantages.
I have no idea who the other person is, but even if he is an idiot who claim Rob Young is legit I would expect Tucker would walk away and shout from the rooftops that a cover up is going on.
The next step is to ensure that it isn't just Young who pays the price. We know the motives of his ghost writer, but why would a SKINS employee be involved in this charade? Were SKINS paying a bonus to their employee if the record went down, to help motivate him? It will be interesting to see what the final goal of this team of two will be. If they have better things to do with their time (which is probably the case) they will determine that he cheated very quickly and be done with this investigation. In other words when asked a Yes or No question. it will be quick and easy. Especially if they have the true Tom Tom data. If that is the case the report will just cite one or two examples of clear proof and then say case closed.
Conversely if they are being paid for a full report then it could be a 50 page document which each instance of proof of cheating. Much more than LRC sleuths have uncovered.
Of course we all want the biggie report. But I suspect we might just get a tidbit in September that says "Evidence proves that Rob was assisted in his transcon run and therefore cheated".

It's clear that Robs RV sessions were routine, and not just happening whilst one of the drivers was sleeping. Both Dustin Brooks and Michael Speicher had to be aware of what was going on. Dustin's motives are clear - money, as he's the ghost writer of RY's book. How much money would they have to pay Michael to make it worth risking his career over?
I've seen no evidence that Speicher and Rob knew each other before this event. Speicher started working for Skins in Switzerland on September 2015, and before that was at University of Toledo for 4 years. Rob was sponsored by Skins in January this year.

This "edifice" thread is a 450 page steaming pile of shit with a pony inside. As with the Rossi thread, all of you who think it shows the best of the best have been living in the magical world of letsrun too long. Which stinks, because...
...Those of you being hailed as sleuths... good work. Incredible stuff has been pulled into the blog and the google doc and a couple executive summaries. It's still a lot to take in, but the independent investigators are numbers guys.
But do go back a few pages and listen to Hiro regarding the evidence you have. A lot of work has been done with screenshots and uploads that may (or may not) be directly attributed to RY and data dumps into places with lovely names such as "fake RY account".
People who are guilty as hell get off sometimes because of evidence tampering... or simply the perception that the evidence COULD HAVE BEEN tweaked.
1. Take a step back and be able to show how/why you think the numbers you've been crunching started with something claimed by RY to be "real". And how your adjustments and presentations spread the light of truth and not a particular bias.
2. If you are asked by the "independent investigators" or an actual journalist to clarify how you did what you did and where it came from, answer it calmly and to the best of your ability.
Unlike folks that are going to respond to this post calling me names and returning to the letsrun commune (which comes off looking identical in most respects to the RY fanclub, just with a different/opposite frame of reference), act like real people.
And don't stuff their inboxes and twitter feeds with confusing stuff. Designate a few... racergirl, team1, investigator, a few more... to work it (if they so choose).
I've been having a brief email correspondence with a French journalist at sportsleaks for a couple of weeks (some in French), and contacted him today with the news of the Skins panel. I have had this reply which is heartening:
"I heard about that, M. Ross Tucker is among our "friends" list on the
