It may also be political suicide. I feel that if Kavanaugh gets confirmed you will see a massive uptick in women voters over the next 4-8yrs.
I don’t think many people understand how many women have been assaulted or molested and never come forward other than telling family members.
This has been a ticking time bomb ever since the #MeToo movement started. It’s throwing gas on a fire the GOP doesn’t want ignited.
