I'm triple vaxxed. That being said, I think some of this vaccine faith is crazy. I definitely think when you get te vaccine you are more llikely to get Covid in the short term. It's also possible that you are more likely to get Omnicron period (unless you have a recent booster) but getting Covid doesn't scare me.Dying from Covid is what I want to avoid and thus that's why I'm vaxxed.
I also understand the argument some make that the faith in cloth masks and vaccines may have contributed to the spread. We all got vaxxed and thought there was nothing to worry about and started living normal lives and things spread like crazy. Now it may have happened anyway due to Omicron as it seems the only way to not get Covid is to not be anyone or wear an n95 type mask.
Truth be told, I don't think things would be all that much different if we had simply folowed the Barrington Declarattion.
