Someone mentioned when zooming in, Rob's actual run segments look predictably jagged and weaving, and when it is suspected that he is in the RV, the line is much straighter.

I know it would be laborious, but has anybody thought about making a map that highlights what segments appear to be run, and what segments appear to be in a vehicle based on whether the segments look jagged and weaving or not?

If anything, it would be a nice visual of what was going on in his mind in terms of where the cheating segments are bunched up over the whole route.

Even as someone who has been following this thread from day 1 this was very hard to compile. It simply isn't possible to sort through this thread, and the google doc doesn't have a lot of context in it. Without more high level, easy to understand material, our accusations won't get much traction.

Nice, Hiro. I critiqued the opening of the book early in the thread. RY's data he posted in mapmyrun and linked in Facebook contradict info in his book about the initial 3 marathons in 3 significant ways: (1) mapmyrun order was 3:19, 3:28, 4:07 so he got slower not faster; (2) book says route was loops in Richmond Park, but mapmyrun shows point to point from Twickenham to Regents Park, which then rules out Eva as a witness to his initial marathon as the book claims; and (3) mapmyrun says it was Day 2 when he ran 2 marathons in a day, not Day 1 as the book claims. I point this out simply to say RY contradicts himself, quite obviously. I think the book exaggerated the claims that were already an exaggeration in the mapmyrun data.

Great summary. You might want to change or delete "presumably involved some rest beforehand." from Rob's London 2015 marathon PR as that race was squeezed in during the race across America transcon. Here is a screen shot from that race taken from Paul Martelletti's youtube video. Paul says "Gone through 2 miles, 11:35 on the clock. Paula can pace us for a bit." Rob was trying to gain some publicity for Skins by hanging with the Paula Radcliffe group. He's wearing the blue vest and kilt. Managed a lifetime PR for 5k of 17:31.

I wouldn't put it past these dopes to publish a "tell all book" of how they almost got away with it. Of course the proceeds would have to go to their "charities" so they would avoid scorn. For the children of course.

Just open another tab. Or try a browser plugin which adds features to Strava, such as this one:

Did you ever upload that non-timestamped set anywhere? When I grab a timestamped GPX from his Strava account, it appears that the track points come at 1-second intervals. I'm not sure if that's the original recording rate of the TomTom, or if that's a re-generation of the GPX by Strava using their own interpolation, but either way, a first assumption might be that the non-timestamped GPXs use the same 1-second interval. If so, it would be relatively trivial to write a script to re-populate the GPX with timestamps, assuming the track points stay in time order within the file. Such a reconstruction probably wouldn't pass as evidence in a court of law, and I'm not sure how many more almost-smoking guns we need, but I wouldn't mind at least exploring it.
