Agree. The animation of the two gps tracks and Rob's own video is an awesome smoking gun. One of many. There is so much smoke in the basement that Rob needs to get out quick before he dies of smoke inhalation.

Yea, this is really fantastic stuff. The case against him is enormous. We should really grab copies of his videos too before he pulls them.

I am completely behind on this thread, but I recall that he had fake Strava accounts he had played with. Did we grab the data from those before he deleted them? I am imagining a scenario where he uploaded the watches to different accounts, downloaded everything to a folder as we did, then uploaded them all to his main account (hence the duplicates). Perhaps we can ID which watch was the bike watch account?

Total longshot - again I am embarrassingly behind on this thread because RY just about made me lose my job over the last two weeks. I had to cut loose from the saga.

Oh, and the winning brands from all of this are clearly TomTom and Strava. I've learned more about their products than any Skinz product.

As I look at that hatch I can visualize it being the cause of the repeated button hook map GPS pattern we see when he switches from Riding bike to Riding RV to Running..He stops the bike and walks it around to the back to put it in the hatch.

It ended up being longer than I originally planned, but I think it is a good introduction to everything that has been uncovered in the investigation. I tried to write it in a way that would be accessible to non-runners. Let me know if you have any suggestions.

Even as someone who has been following this thread from day 1 this was very hard to compile. It simply isn't possible to sort through this thread, and the google doc doesn't have a lot of context in it. Without more high level, easy to understand material, our accusations won't get much traction.

Someone mentioned when zooming in, Rob's actual run segments look predictably jagged and weaving, and when it is suspected that he is in the RV, the line is much straighter.

I know it would be laborious, but has anybody thought about making a map that highlights what segments appear to be run, and what segments appear to be in a vehicle based on whether the segments look jagged and weaving or not?

If anything, it would be a nice visual of what was going on in his mind in terms of where the cheating segments are bunched up over the whole route.

Nice executive summary. You might think about adding another subheading called "Evidence of cheating methods" and add some proof of bike GPS data being passed off as Robs running data.

After all, what executive wouldn't appreciate knowing not only that cheating occurred but how he did it too?

Yes but no. Someone was able to snag a couple, and I thought I was downloading them all from the strava website because I figured they would disappear. Unfortunately, when you download them from strava they strip the time element so all I have is GPX tracks. I suppose theoretically you might be able to deduce speed by point density but honestly I don't know.

Another painstaking possibility is to find the closest waypoint to each tracker point, assign a time to those that way, and then interpolate between them. It could really only be used for illustration But it would be a lot of work.

On a completely other thread, I'm guessing that they must have figured out how to get the RV to 'idle' at 10mph or else they are incredibly consistent about the speed. As erratic as RY is running, they were very consistent over very high mileage across the mountain west and plains in going just around 10mph. Note that other people have explored this

, although 10mph seems a bit high to me.

I don't know that there is a solid knowledge of exactly what was deleted from Strava. The fake RY has a 32 mile run that the real RY does not. And there are screenshots from the Joanna account.

I used a Chrome plugin to download gpx from Strava - it preserves all the data.

But I only found it a couple days ago, not when he was first uploading...
