I've questioned and haven't accused or antagonized him so you have me mistaken for someone else. As I have read most previous threads I've come to a few conclusions. There always seems to be someone like you prodding people while defending him. If someone gives any personal evidence like you are asking for they mysteriously get identified and "anonymously " outed and sometimes threatened. I gave you my opinion, it is based in facts I have gathered over a long period of time. Posting my opinion while remaining anonymous is self preservation not being cowardly. The statements he made over the past couple of years via social media seem to have been documented pretty well and some are sharing them here thankfully.

Mike finally realized he is going to be in court a week from now and gee whiz thought maybe he should try to tidy up a bit by purging and deleting and modifying whatever media he could get his grubby little fingers on.

Truly nothing will get as real to him as some time behind bars, not the ones he is use to but for criminals. In true Mikey fashion, he will likely use that notoriety to pad his internet tough guy status. Or maybe not, depending on how well the other inmates receive him.

It's funny that I'm arguing with someone who is defending a person for living in denial of his bad behavior while that person is living in denial of that persons bad behavior. Really not much of a leap here.

Yes, this guy is a total cheat and deserved to be called out. But this has gone too far. His ego has been crippled and all of these things are weighing heavy on him. Violence and agression is self hatred gone outward.

I am even more sorry he has children but the fact of the matter is he does. For their sake, you 20-somethings to 50-somethings in your mom's basement holding pitch forks and torches on this mega witchhunt spun out of control should back off some. He cheated. But the continued life of this thread is turning evil. Rossi is either checking this thread or knows the thread exists so he is feeling completely under fire right now and in a rougher patch than we know. Those of you pulling up old court records and stuff you are reopening this guys wounds. Enough. Nobody wins in a courtroom. Not the perpetrator, not the victim. Everybody loses. We dont know those stories and those stories' backstories. Obviously there is a lot of trauma and self harm. We dont know the root of the cause. Trust me, we dont know it deep down there is one because hurt people hurt people.

Let it go and take your amusement somewhere else before he does something more drastic. I am up for a couple of jabs and pokes but this has turned inhumane. You will feel guilty if he does. This is a human being with kids we are talking about. I dont think he deserves a second chance at marathoning or to redeem himself on letsrun. He is a cheat. But if he is the way he is right now he isnt going to be the way he needs to be for dependents in his life. He deserves a chance to be that or we've continued the problems onto them. They've done nothing.

It has to be sincere and with details so we know he is sincere. My experience with such people is it takes at least 3 attempts before they accept their actions and can offer a true apology.

Mike will not do this. Even now he is deceiving and trying to lie his way out of all he had done. He cannot get past the denial stage, it is his life.

I was not aware we were arguing. I also do not understand why you think my request for compassion towards Mr. Rossi is amusing. To each his or her own. I suspect this will all be over with the dismissal of charges, and then you and others may return to worrying about more important topics.

What is it with "all" these people writing ridiculously long posts calling for everyone to lay off? Pretty transparent IMO...

In what universe does anyone care enough about a cheat/loser/woman-hitter enough that they must expend so much energy "defending" them?

I understand the sentiment but doing the right thing is not a concept Mike can grasp, as you have clearly seen in this thread.

If you really want this to end, try being honest.. If you're Mike, post a picture holding up a piece of paper with "I cheated" on it. If you're Cindy, post a picture with "Mike cheated". That would go a long way towards getting people to drop this.
