This race confirmed that Bracy is a pure 100m man. He tried to hold on, but ultimately faded a bit.
So...4x100m. Forget Bracy and Coleman.
Bromell-Kerley-Knighton-Lyles sounds good to me!
Lineups mean less than getting the stick around with good passing. That's what I fear- another crap show due to lack of practice and familiarity.
Yes, and I worry especially about Knighton to Lyles. But Mike Marsh is involved, so something might actually get done.
Chemistry is the argument for putting Bracy on the team. Bracy-Kerley-Bromell-Lyles also works, and Bracy’s fade will probably be matches by the other leadoff men.
Honestly, with silver and that chemistry, I don’t see how you can leave Bracy off and not demoralize Bromell and Kerley. They are pretty tight.

first runner only has to go around 105 before giving up the stick. I think you run Bracy there.
With that insanely inefficient form, there is no natural way for CC not to fade. I won’t even tell you what I think his natural talent level is.
Compare that to Bracy, who has shown some really good form, and been rewarded for it. It prevents him from fading as much as he would if he didn’t have great form.
This final was actually pretty basic-fast, at least for the medalists. IMO Bracy was the one who really elevated, that is maybe a basic PB.
Will be fun to re-watch the race tomorrow and see what happened behind the top 3.

I would like Kerley on a turn and Lyles anchoring. Bromell is probably best out of the blocks, and, since he's teammates with Bracy, that's your first handoff. Kerley 3rd with Lyles closing.

if Bracy really only has 100m in him, 2nd leg is a terrible idea. You are sprinting around 125 meters from start of zone to giving up the baton.
I don't know how different he and Bromell are after 100m, but sprintgeezer makes it out to be a serious issue, and he knows things about sprinting that I don't.
