Strava heat map if you are a premium subscriber. or there are third party tools that do it, you have to give them access to your account of course. So it would need a clone of RY's data.

A oouple of thoughts this morning.

1. I believe that these button hooks, which are obviously RY stopping and walking around or even inside the RV followed or preceded by either staggered lines or nice smooth lines might be the key to proving he was riding in the RV. I wonder if we can get an expert's opinion on what an RV ride might look like vs a fast run or Gallowalking. DC Rainmaker GPS diagnosis???

2. Hell, I am thinking of testing this out myself. Go out for a fast consistent 6-7 pace run and upload it. Then do the same course in a car and see what it looks like too. (see if the GPS is in the middle of the road vs off to the side and other details.)

I think the truth of when he is riding in the RV is found in the way it is displayed via GPS if we can crack the code as to what it is.

Another thing that to look at is his stops. Like on this flagstaff run.

You can tell that the stops do not resemble his walking break stops that are displayed as flat plateus where distance is covered. Instead they are sharp V shaped. If these stops line up with traffic signals in busy parts of Flagstaff then that would be somewhat incriminating. We all know that as runners we keep moving through traffic signals in a different manner than the RV does. So it would be interesting to investigate the difference in how the map looks riding in a vehicle vs running through traffic signals.

I was going to suggest a vehicle test myself, don't have a car otherwise I would try it - atttempt to drive fairly smoothly at running pace and compare it with an actual run.

Ignore this. I wasn't looking at the proper mileage. It appears both the map below and his splits are the same reflecting elevation changes. He is just racing up mountains with ease.

Eddy didn't have any problems doing that in Albuquerque. And he was 10 years older.

Clearly we are seeing natures finest. RY has tummy trouble, gets in the RV to drop a deuce (coming in the side door), does his business, then climbs out the window so he doesn't stink up the RV. Unencumbered he starts laying down wood for the next 2-28 miles...

When he was walking/jogging, he was on the shoulder for safety's sake. But at a faster pace he could risk being out in the roadway where there was a smoother and less littered surface.

That is hilarious. Also, the RV is pacing him. Who run's a transcontinental race where the RUNNER has to run up to the RV to tell him that he's going to run slower or faster. THAT'S WHAT THE RV'S JOB IS - TO KEEP TRACK OF HIM.

That was a good one. There was a 5:04 and a 5:07 mile in there, but no sub-5s. To be fair, it was going downhill.
