I'm busy organising an ultra distance race between Rob Young's house and the Amy Hughes residence. As with all such events, I need quite a few volunteers to help out, so do let me know if you are available.

Before the start they'll need a phony bullshit personal trainer type to give them calisthenics and warm up exercises, so I like to put my hand up and volunteer for that.

BOTH these numbers are correct. Amy averaged 192/6 = 32 miles on the OFFICIAL run, but since she is such an over-achiever she did 58 EXTRA mile runs during the downtime on the 6 days, for a total of 250 miles run.

I feel sorry for Amy because mud runner coach Dave couldn't calculate the optimal runs and walks to break the record. You're right. She should have started with fast walking with carefully calculated sections of running to cover the required daily distance. If she'd done this she wouldn't have had the breakdown on day 2.

As for the overnight videos, I can't see the SOLE treadmill logo on those so SW won't be able to calculate the distance the belt moved at night. Amy put in some fast 10ks in the last 2 days to get back on track for the record and my guess is these were run in the cool of the night, just as Rob did.
