That's the point, genius! Kevin has made mistakes and he's saying not to go down that same road. Mistakes that way more people have made than you realize, by the way. It's kinda like the guy who gets caught going 120mph that goes to jail and everyone else who has done it is like, "whoa, i better never do that again."

I am flabbergasted. If this happened in the Midwest you would be gone in 60 seconds for even thinking such things.

Thanks for posting. My kid was considering Lehigh and wanted to run for the school. I think this school is now off the list. These are different times. In the 90s when I was in college, our coach often made inappropriate comments (much worse than what was described in the article) and no one thought anything of it. 20 years ago this wouldn't be an issue and now you have a team that's broken. What kid wants to be a part of this mess? It's going to take some time for recruits to consider Lehigh again.

I haven't been on the message board in years, but I occasionally check out the front page. I was a frequent visitor back during the Magpie incident, when Marc Davis was always on here, when the big incident with Melody Strong (who was a friend of mine back then) and Runners World took place. If you don't know what any of that means that you weren't on here 15+ years ago. Sorry, I'm not a kid. More like a former competitive runner who has become a concerned parent.

this is just blatantly ignorant and incorrect. If you were part of the program or had any insight into reality there you would know the athletes had their assses in that office every damn day to push the coach to hire worthy assistant coaches, get harder workouts, fix communication problems so they could effectively train, and BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE. That program is a crap show. So much talent and so little people who care to get better. Those athletes who spoke were some of the hardest workers on the team. They wanted to be held to a higher standard just as they want their coach to be. The kids just want a coach who they aren’t uncomfortable around. College athletes have enough pressure on them they do not need to have to deal with a coach touching them and making comments about their bodies. Do you have a daughter??

Right, so a coach engages in inappropriate behavior with his athletes, but the students are the ones who don't want to be held accountable. That's gotta be the dumbest thing I've ever read on this site.

This. Some old time coaches are just upset because they are finally getting called out for their unnecessary and crude comments towards women, the less talented, less motivated etc. Since they cannot find a way to motivate the lazy or don't want to train anyone not talented enough they resort to ridicule and mockery of the individual. Under the guise of discipline and the old I'm in charge deal with mantra they got away with it for years.
