I disagree. McDonald didn’t run that one like he will the final. He was running to safely qualify. That’s what I saw anyway

he may not have been running like it was the Olympic final , but he DID try to make a move for the win got denied and then overplayed the "I'm not really racing" jog across the line at the very end. I give Fisher a small victory in this one.
I don't think Morgan really cared who was going to 'win' for 4900m of that race but he DID get give it a go and got out kicked on the stretch and tried to play it off.
I think Morgan will go earlier at nationals as a result. Wait and see.
