The article on Page 10, June 19, about climate change, should have been on page 1. Why? So Doug LaMafia and the 52 percent of boneheads who voted for him recently would see it and read it.

Why are people still voting for a man who is ignorant concerning proven scientific evidence that we are slowly destroying our home planet by human practices? These are the same type of people who refused to believe the Earth is round and not flat. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

I propose a new voting requirement. If you aren’t smart enough to understand science you can’t vote and you can’t be an elected official. I am holding Republicans responsible for destroying my planet.

No doubt this lady is one of the dildos who spent HS getting a C- in biology. Who spent her time in drama club. While those of us who actually cared about science did it.

The Earth is flat, we never landed on the moon, we never flew through the Van Allen radiation belts (we never "lost" the technology because we never HAD the technology), NASA lies, the ISS does not exist and bodies of water do not curve.

First Global Warming is not science. Science is where you observe phenomena, construct a theory to explain it, and then look for any evidence that it might be WRONG. Promoters of Global Warming only look for evidence supporting their theory, cooking the books or ignoring nonconforming data while working to destroy the careers of anyone who presents data challenging their conclusions.

Therefore Global Warming is not science. Global Warming is a religion, a mythology, a superstition, an apocalyptic cult, a political movement, and a very big business, but there’s no science in it. Those who promote Global Warming are the real deniers of science because they work to undermine the scientific method.

You go back hundreds of years to find evidence that religions deny science when all you have to do is look at religion today to see that many have jumped on the Global Warming bandwagon, which makes sense because they are getting tired of seeing the Global Warming religion over take them. So you right that many religions deny science in that they support Global Warming.

The fact that many on the right point out that the main stream media have become mouth pieces for the Democrat Party does not mean we are undermining the free press. The very fact the we provide a different point of view ensures a free press. Leftists in the social media giants are attempting to silence voices on the right just their predecessors did decades ago with Equal Time and Fairness Doctrine laws. It is the left trying to control thought by silencing anyone who violates PC rules. The left is keeping people from getting knowledge. They are the oppressors. Democrats are the monster you accuse Republicans of being.

So now that’s settled let’s get back to life on other planets.

Let’s say we find a signal coming from a planet 1,000 light years away and we decide to answer it. That would be very interesting but it will take 2,000 years to find out if they got the message. That’s roughly 50 generations, so any “first contact” is likely to be a lot less exciting than the movies make it out to be.

But then there’s all this “dark matter” making up more than half the universe they tell us. If that turns out to be real, and if there’s life in dark matter, and that dark matter happens to be close to us, and we somehow find a way to communicate with them, then it may be possible to have real time communications with other life forms after all.

You should re-read my last sentence. Suppression or discrediting of the media and spreading false information is a standard tactic in seizing power and oppressing people.

... and you should know that the peer review process has been corrupted by Global Warming promoters. This was revealed in the Climate Gate scandal where the most trusted people at the top of the IPCC were found to be conspiring to ruin the careers of skeptics and planning to change the peer review process to keep skeptics from being published. The IPCC are science deniers, in that they refused to let actual scientific methods challenge their religious beliefs on Global Warming.

Saying that 97% of scientists support Global Warming is like saying Kim Jung Un got 97% of the vote in the last election. All of climate science and the institutions conducting research have been corrupted to the point where the layman can not tell what is real. (See my post on shoveling credibility into the furnace of power to understand why this happened) We should all wait until the current generation of corrupt "scientists" are flushed out of the system before we implement any policies based on their recommendations. That should take at least 40 years, but probably much longer considering that the corrupt academics of today are teaching their Global Warming religious orthodoxy to the next generation and on and on.

Or if someone appears with a model that actually predict climate patterns for 10 years or more, then maybe they can earn some credibility before then. No one is doing that now though.

Why is it reasonable to assume that it is one in a trillion? Is it because "trillion" is the biggest number for which you know the name? How about if it is 1 in 10^(-40,000)? Then what happens to your "billions of intelligent life planets"?

The fact is that you are picking a random number out of your ass, thereby assuming that which you end up concluding. And you have nothing, absolutely zip to back up your assumption.

Correct. Life evolving on Earth was a complete fluke. A zillion to one chance. So the idea that there must be life out there in the Universe based on statistics is a flawed argument.

So, if we are alone in the Universe. Does that mean we are more important than we think we are, or less important?
