She never ran faster than 31:38 and never ran close to 15 flat in the 5000m, so she never showed that much potential at the 10k. That's hardly garbage. The American record in the 10000m is low 30.

Perhaps more impressive than her PR is the fact that she ran (4) world class 10000 in 6 weeks.

I did not see that coming!

Rupp just broke through the top 2000 performances, and I hope he can break into the top 750 (c 2:08:00) or better.

Jordan just broke through the top 100 performances, and I hope she can break through the top 20 (c 2:20:00) or better.

Because she got injured. How dense do you people have to be? Are you going to seriously tell me she cant run faster than 31:38? Mcmillan calculator says a 221 is equal to 30 flat. Her 223 is equal to 30:30. Daniels says her 221 is equal to 30:30. Huddle is probably the only american now who could beat her if she went back to the 10k. Of course there is no reason since NO American can even get close to her in the marathon.

Just to add, only 4 American women have ever run faster than 31 minutes, Huddle, Flanagan, Kastor, and Goucher.

But she did come in second place in the 10k at the USA Champs two years in a row.....she was a great track runner

What I'm wondering: is she in the same category as Lolo Jones? As far as post-race after- dark activities??
