If it doesn't matter, then why do all the Trump people keep lying about their meetings with Russians?
Bingo, and there have been a ton of repeated lies and falsification of records. Jr, Manafort and Kushner all lied and denied having the meeting. And why didn't Jr who was being so "transparent" not mention the lobbyist who was formerly a member of Russian intelligence was at the meeting.
And why won't Kushner, Manafort or Jr say what was actually discussed at the meeting?
And why would this lawyer make up all this stuff about having secret dirt on Hillary and being a Russian agent? What was the her purpose to do that? Putin doesn't seem like the type of guy Russians would lie about.
And why did they say the Russian Government was doing this because they wanted Trump to win?
I guess the answer is the fake media is just making a big deal out of a nothing burger?
You have been manipulated by Putin. He only gave you the illegally obtained negative information about the candidate he didn't want. This is clearly an unfair advantage to the other candidate and its a severe intrusion in our election. You understand that right? I'm sure you are not OK with that.

Your insane as you think I care about Trump or anyone. I only care about my country.
Why d f do I care if Trump supporters get upset about Hillary information. Good, I hope we know all can about Hillary and Trump.
Again, if Hillary won cause North Korea told us some caca about Trump, GOOD!!! Freaking tell me the dirt (I'll decide what to believe anyways)
All politicians suck and choosing which sucks less is what smart people try to do.
Who gives an F if Trump OR HILLARY n Putin plan Sunday trips together. We are not at war with them and have billions of dollars of trade with them.
All I care is do I believe my President is looking out for me. That's for me to decide and trying to stop information for me to decide that is stupid!!
John Oliver make a whole skit in the fact that it illegal for a foreigner (non Canadian) to try to influence Canadian elections. The fine is $10,000 I believe. John Oliver went on to support Trudeau the day before the election. He thought that it was a big joke, which it is.
i don't believe that the US has a similar law, so the penalty should be even less. So an even bigger joke. No matter what CNN will try to have you believe.
Maybe they denied because anything somebody related to Trump has contact with a Russia the liberal media sounds the alarms and starts making accusations. I'm not saying it is a good thing that they denied, but lets look at the facts. Trump Jr. showed bad judgement, but what crime was done? What did they gain from the meeting? The whole thing was a set up and the members of the Trump campaign were lured there by the lawyer to talk about the adoption of Russians. I'm sure the Clinton campaign got inside info on Trump too, that's politics and it happens in many elections. For those liberals saying that the leaks are destroying democracy why didn't they feel the same when Obama was meddling in the Israeli elections? This Russian story is just another excuse by the liberals explaining their loss to cover up the fact that they ran a terrible campaign and supported a corrupt candidate.

Oh, yes. Mettle much?
Big joke...
Did Trump himself order the Russians to do the illegal activity?
Did Trump himself release the information?
Did Trump promise things to Putin for any help (Putin would be an idiot to trust him if he did)?
If not, then I don't care. As I'm sure the US is hacking countless other countries this very second to manipulate whatever they want.
And if the Russians or any other country tells Hillary caca about Trump, I hope it released as well through the media.
If you think every country isn't hacking the crap out of each other to get things to their advantage, you are crazy!
I'm guessing but I'm sure Hillary has somehow received information from a foreign entity during her career too. It's how the game is played.
Why anyone thinks the election process is honest to begin with is beyond me. This is par for the course and I'm glad the Ruskies or whoever told me. I hope they dump trash on Trump too!!

Why does this reasoning make sense. Trump was already set for life, as was his family. Hillary was a whore who sold herself out and Bill got big bucks to give speeches in Russia for big dollars. They were the compromised!
Hillary sold 20% of uranium supplies to Putin. Now libs will tell you that has been debunked but even the uber liberal NY Times stands behind that story.
I know libs are reaching but this is the very reason this is not the "democratic" party. The election happened, the democrats lost and they can't accept it. It's called an election and their candidate lost. Deal with it. My Facebook page is full of ex-runner has-beens in their 50s who bitch because someone woman isn't their leader now. (How's that for being a "man"?) I'm 22 and hope I never become the p*ssy I see what these old guys have become.
Btw, I was a liberal and did hope Hillary won but this media coverage and bias has opened my eyes.
A true classic liberal has no place in today's Democrap party.
Didn't take you long to figure that out, congrats.
I'm a liberal who hates Trump and everything he says and does. Even I am sick of the coverage. Just do the investigation and let us know how it turns out in the end! I am much more dismayed by the many blatant conflicts of interest and nepotism we have witnessed. That is all right out in the open. That, and the fact he lies about everything all the time. It seems there ought to be some sort of law against presidents blatantly lying to the public.

In every other Democratic Country CNN and NBC would lose their license to broadcast, no exaggeration. In every other nation the Access Hollywood tape released by senior NBC figures would violated Labor/Labour laws because they smeared a recently resigned former employee applying for another job in a deliberate smear job.

You hang onto that fantasy.

You are one dumb deluded motherf*cker; 1/10 just for typing that drivel-- doosh.
People need to lay off the Donald. Our political system of legalized corporate bribery has made voting basically irrelevant.
The Donald knows that, and has graciously stepped in to entertain us all. We should be thanking him for distracting us from the embarrassing state of affairs that our political system is.
Time to remove term limits and keep the Donald in charge for good. We need a permanent entertainer-in-chief.

It's treason to collide with a foreign power in an attempt to gain something of value (opposition research) in an American election. If you don't care that the president's potentially (definitely) at least tried to do something that would constitute treason in an attempt to help his father (the president) win the election, then that's your choice.
I would care if Trump or someone working closely with him committed actual treason, e.g. exchanging money for state secrets. All I'm hearing is that a lawyer from Russia offered to give information supposedly obtained from the Russian government about a private U.S. citizen to another private U.S. citizen during a campaign year.

So you seem to understand that it's illegal to accept aid from foreign entities in an election,
No, it's not. How ignorant can you mofo's be? Obviously none of the people arguing about this ridiculous issue have ever been involved in a political campaign.
The kind of "aid" regulated is "campaign finance." That means money or things worth money. Information is not worth money unless money is paid for it.
For example, the Clinton campaign last year received very "valuable" information - debate questions - from Donna Brazile. Was that a contribution from Brazile? No. While it certainly had a significant impact, allowing Clinton to give prepared answers, there was no agreed-on dollar value and it was entirely legal.
Not that it would be that big a deal if it weren't. A campaign finance violation is not treasonous. Is war declared against Russia? Okay, then. Was there some big scheme to funnel millions of dollars into Trump's campaign? No, again. You don't get to cancel the election over something like that. Grow up.
The Democrats clinging so desperately to this bigoted anti-Russia nonsense shows how morally bankrupt they are. They have absolutely nothing good about themselves to point to, and they'd lead us into war to salvage their broken delusions. They need to dissolve, now, and let a real left wing form.
I just read the version of events from Akhmetshin (the new guy revealed today) and he claims that Veselnitskaya had a folder containing names of then Russian Billionaires in "printed-out documents that detailed what she believed was the flow of illicit funds to the Democrats." He claims that when Don Jr asked Veselnitskaya if she could prove any of these allegations she said basically that is for you to do. At that point Kushner & Manafort thought the meeting was a joke, Kushner just got up and left. I personally would like to hear more about this story. It seems team Trump are getting a bad-rap, for NOT actually using this information and it has no connection to WikiLeaks whatsoever.

It could fall into the legal but poor optics category. Most people like to keep their bribery secret.
It is a stretch to extent these type of things to treason. They are pretty clear violations of campaign finance laws though. There are strict limits on taking things of value from foreign sources. I sort of doubt he is going to serve any time for it though.
You got to ask what it is about republicans and scandals though. Why do they rack up so many more than the Democrats?
