Cattanach and Webb both ran 1:51.7 at Terrier. Watched the heats on Flo track. Cattanach looked like he was jogging and was in bad positions the entire race, if he doesn't run 1:49 this season I'd be surprised. Webb was in a slower heat and had to work the last 200 solo and must have closed in 27 high. They're both from the same conference!
MIT had a freshman run 1:52.
Black ran 4:09 and won his heat. Really well run race for him, stayed back and hammered the last 200 for the win. Neg split. 1:48 at Valentine? I think Scheetz's record will live to see 2017.
3k had a lot of good New England guys in it but nobody really ran well in distances over the mile.
Hernandez opens with a pretty good solo mile at the Armory, not as fast as Mitch and not a PR but it's early.
Also, Bhalla ran 1:20.2 for 600m or so at Tufts.
800 will be a hard final to make this year.
Coby running 3:59 after being bumped from the fast heat was something special. Awesome dude, glad he got that sub 4.
That's all I could think of for the Northeast.
