Not cool bad mouthing Dave. Not at all. Ever asked German if he thinks Dave messed him up? I have and he'll be the first to tell you it was his own fault starting with becoming a vegetarian. As you know we're not supposed to be commenting on here so I'm out. Oh and also mister 2 years insider you should know too that there is a long tradition of Brits here starting with Paul Larkins so having foreigners is nothing new. I appreciate having better people on my same team no matter if they're British, Kenyan or whatever. It makes me better too.

Your post is unimaginably stupid. Among other things it betrays your nearly insane level of defensiveness about the OSU program. You probably don't even realize how singularly unimpressive that defensiveness is. You Cowboys are coming across as embarrassingly defensive. If I was leaning toward giving the OSU program the benefit of the doubt before reading this thread your posts sure are making it hard for me to continue to do so.

Just for the record, a couple guys posting from OSU doesn't decide the character of the team. However, each team has it's overly defensive guy and I hope no one associates him with the rest of the crew.

This thread really isn't about me. I posted my thoughts on German, why he's not running well, and I believe I'm entitled to that opinion.

Feel free to share my name, it's not like I'm hiding behind some distortion I'm trying to makeshift here.

As for not hacking the program, I was on "our" top 7. And was also fast enough at NCAA xc to be on any team top 7 at Nationals. I am not stud or profressional runner, but I put in my dues, and am proud of coming as far as I did as an original scrub. And I finished my 5 years, I always finish what I start.

Of course, you're in debt to him, you were on a a full scholarship. I would hope so. 900 dollar check each month on top of getting school paid for is financially reassuring, I wish I understood that pain.

I loved the team, still keep in touch, still talk to 2 of the 3 coaches, and still enjoy cheering for my Pokes. However, it is what it is sometimes, in relation to German's situation.

1) There is no need to defend the coach. The primary individual saying OSU and GF were not a good fit for one another is NOT attacking Dave Smith. Are you too stupid to see that? He's saying that Smith's coaching style works for some but didn't work for German. And you feel a need to be defensive about what is so obvious?

2) You're guessing I'm some old guy out of college? Really? You mean because I do not have reading comprehension problems and think clearly I must be an old dude? Or maybe just someone with an IQ over 85. Believe me, you are making your school look bad with your inane posts. Really bad.

Reading this thread, I'll go out on a limb here to say that you're someone who's pretty tangled up inside. Angst much? Your posts do not portray someone that is looking real shiny either there, ace. Maybe the lot of you should just let it go? Fernandez is gone from university, is racing again, and all this silly bickering would appear to be a moot point.

I'm not sure what's with the uproar my previous posts. Though, I do know who the "Jon wild" poster is. Harder working and passionate dude, just over the top with expressing it. It was probably foreigner sentiment, which is probably being taken personally and out of context.

As for current cowboy, I'm not sure on his identity. I hardly believe he even ran/runs at OSU with his current logic and intellect. OSU does have academic standards.

If it's in relation to me releasing our training, that is no secret. We repeat it every year. Therefore, the reason why my previous posts were a tad sarcastic in explaining why German's training wasn't individualized and thought out. If his training was pre-determined, which it was, either one of two things could apply to that situation:

1.) German hits the jackpot and training suits his style in improving.

Although, the scenario that happened:

2.) The training was not individualized and his previous training was obviously ignored and was overwhelmed in the process of training at OSU.

Yeah, hey btw already said that he's a coach. Pretty strange that he'd get involved on here and post if he's trying to keep good relations with friends currently running (or even other coaches). I don't really know how it works at the college level though.

Renato and The creator of this site are among coaches that post on here. Some are pretty cut throat with their posts and opinions.

However, you s very adequately proven the observation of your bottled up angst and anger, I suppose. Hopefully, for your own sake, you've just had a bad day; and don't really act this way in true person to person interactions. 3:55 Indoors winning easy at 1500 Outdoors, 7:47, 13:25 as an 18 year old frosh, ALL while running at OSU

Many HS 18 year olds, and there are many and MANY after will never touch that stuff.
