No disrespect to these guys but I think both Bekeles have shown better closing speed than the Kenyans. Tariku can't close like Imane Merga or I. Jelian but he seems to be quicker than Masai and Kiprop. Farah, of course, is really quick. I like Masai a lot but I think he will need to break some people from a distance out. Maybe he will push the pace with Tadesse. Should be fun. I know Rupp ran a quick 1500 but I still wonder if he will be able to close a 10000 with the top 5. Maybe so.
Are there individual race videos anywhere? I know the live webcast was hosted on runnerspace but I don't see any links for the individual races.

Gabrielle Anderson looks pretty good, but maybe some of the favorites are going to find some more form before trials. Uceny seems like the prohibitive favorite after her race in Rome. Simpson, Rowbury and Pierce seem vulnerable, though Rowbury looked better at Occidental. Should be an interesting trials.

Actually he raises a good question. I overheard it actually being discussed after his interview. Whether or not it happens I don't know, but it appears you are the one out or your league.
By the way...am I the only person sick and tired of watching these depressing Webb post-race videos? I think I would rather watch Iranian hostage tapes. If you're not depressed watching the American record holder search for answers in these frighteningly frequent and repetitive videos, something is wrong. Uceny clearly the best form right now at 1500. But I have a feeling Rowbury is not peaked yet. Rowbury, Ucena are locks.

I guess you shouldn't be surprised that Renato Canova coaches Men's 10,000m champ and former World half marathon champ Wilson Kiprop.
Canova had a lot of interesting things to say. He said it was a good idea the race didn't have rabbits. He then said in a slow race with a kick Kiprop doesn't have a chance at the Olympics. He needs a faster pace. He said the faster pace with a longer push for home and that favors Bekele but is also good for Kiprop.
Then Canova said he sees the medallist coming from 2 Kenyans, 1 Ethiopian (I think he meant 1 Ethiopian plus Bekele, but he could have meant just Bekele), Mo Farah and ... Galen Rupp.
He even talked about strategy for Alan Webb. Most of that starts around the 6:30 mark I believe looking at my notes:

According to the schedule, the men's 400m dash starts at 2:33 EST, and the men's 100m at 2:40, but the broadcast starts at 3. Will we not be able to see these events? Will NBC replay them? Is there a live stream that will be going until 3?
