I would make it a top 5 list and add Sammy Wanjiru, not because he didn't set any WRs but because he was excelled in races with under very difficult conditions.

Translation of the above: I cannot defend the list, so I'll use my junior high cognitive skills to evade manifesting the inanity of my assertions.
mapiv, show us one race in history that transcends the london tergat/geb/kk battle. sammy/kebede? not quite. sammy/olympics? nope. chicago (ever)? nope. NY ever? nope. I can hang kk's hat on one single race and it's good enough to make the top 10, easily. throw in the rest of his results, top 5 is automatic, top3 is possible.
