Movies that make no sense.

Agree with froosheeante. If any of you have ever seen this movie, you would agree too. I can't imagine a better movie to fit the title of this thread.

It made no sense, jumped around all over the place (there was this one part where I don't know if it was bad editing or what, but all of a sudden, the main character is in a warehouse.) It was weird, horribly acted, horribly written, convoluted, etc.

The biggest waste of 2 hours I have ever had. How Cameron Diaz agreed to do this movie is beyond me.

I agree, when I saw this thread Vanilla Sky was the only thing that I could think of, then I remember 28 days with Sandra Bullock! Total wastes of time.

Apparently quite common. That movie must've been speaking my language because I thought its future dystopia as extension / extrapolation / caricature of the present was hit-you-over-the-head obvious, but nearly nobody else I talked about the movie with saw this angle *at all*.

I'll go with 1983's Liquid Sky, which someone else brought up not long ago. Could be I'd make more sense of it a quarter century later, but in '86 or so it just seemed like a stylish mess.

Lots of movies made in the cocaine-fueled '80s made little sense, come to think of it. Seems that drug short-circuited folks' critical facilities while stimulating their ability to just crank out the work.

One guy you thought was a good guy becomes a bad guy but then really is a good guy pretending to be bad.

Then one good guy dies, turns out to be alive, but then turns out to be bad then dies... for good(Jon Voight)

Sort of that line of thought... makes total sense, doesn't it?

"Alexander," the Oliver Stone movie with Colin Ferrell, is pretty much incoherent as well as boring and awful.
