This view is rightfully an outsider's. Akron and Cleveland are essentially the same. A majority of the people who work in Cle live in Akron and Cle restaurants, Indians, Browns, Cavs make money off the wealthy individuals who reside in Akron. Also if you live near the highway it takes like 25min to get to Cle and 20 if you speed. Just advancing the fact that they are strongly connected in all but name.
Dude, you might as well throw Canton in there too and say the football hall of fame is really in Cleveland. Other than Lebron, I seriously doubt many people live in Akron and work in Cleveland. They may live in Medina, Brunswick, Strongsville, Hudson, and Cuyahoga Falls, but they surely don't live in Akron.
I forgot to add, how did that Richfield Coliseum ever turn out they built right between the two cities? I remember being dragged there for a Springsteen concert many years ago.

Are you referring to the 34 games they will win next year?
That is a very generous prediction!
Dan Gilbert built the Cleveland Clinic Courts facility in Independence, OH so that it would be a shorter commute for LeBron James, specifically.

I was taking into consideration the Cavs paying Lebrons 16 million dollars to Josh Childress. If they can't sign him, they may win less than that.

Dude, Maybe if he built that facility at the old Richfield Coliseum burial ground, Lebron would still be a Cavalier. That would have knocked another 15 minutes off Lebron's commute.
Yeah I could see the Cavs paying Childress a max contract, only because Cavs brass is that incompetent and would over pay a player of Childress's caliber
