Classic idiocy, from both of you. Like I said, nobody is knocking his marathon ability. We've only recognized it for what it is, what's been proven, 2:42 and where that fits in our sport. As for the other irrational defensiveness, I didn't say that he isn't a better runner than me (that happened entirely inside your pea brains) and I couldn't care less about ultras.

That I'd like to see. The fact that Dean thinks for a second that he could beat Anton in any race is simply laughable. I hope Anton takes him up on it.
When is Dean going to get his due credit?! The man is one of the best runners in the country, if not world.
Sure, he isn't amongst the best American at the marathon, but that isn't his event! If he trained specifically for it I bet he'd be a lot closer!!
Reasons I like Krupicka:
1. He reads Let's Run.
2. He is a Lydiard disciple.
3. He puts in some crazy miles.
4. He doesn't take himself too seriously.
5. He can write.
6. He has gnarly hair and a beard. Totally blue collar.
7. He doesn't run with a bunch of crap or clunky trainers.
8. He drinks PBR.
