I agree, that strategy seems to be not perfect. But in general, I think that everything in gambling and winning is luck. Even with strategies, if you're unlucky, you will lose. I played roulette a few times, and each time I lost. So I just stopped.
As others have noted, it is NOT a winning strategy. I think the expected value of this strategy, assuming an infinite bankroll and not stopping until you win, is negative infinity lol. That’s for any case where the probability of success is less than 50% (and here it’s 9/19).
