I’m in high school and have done xc for 2 years, had this injury for almost 6 months now in the middle of my indoor track season my sophomore year. Ive tried pt, resting, icing, stretching, core work, but so far Im really not seeing an improvement. Heard it could be because of my overpronation and flat feet but I wore shoes specifically to help with those issues, but I also heard it could be bc of core/flexibility issues that could have caused it. I tried running just a mile or so every few days after a few months off of running and doing pt but I still get pain, even on the stairs so I stopped running again....xc season is coming up in a couple months and it looks like I wont be able to participate.. any advice?
