Oh, and for the maggots claiming Gregson is on here talking himself up, I'm a friend of his, and he isn't like that at all. You see, here in Australia, we don't suffer from the seemingly inherent US superiority complex, so unlike some other people (AJ Acosta et al) his personal outlook and opinion very much precludes the accusation.
Also, as flow said earlier, and he is also a friend of Ryan, he only runs 115km a week, and staying with Ian Hatfield is in his best interests - they've been together since Ryan was seven. I doubt he'd develop that sort of a bond with another coach.
While Ryan knows Bideau, I very highly doubt he'll go anywhere with him, as he already has a sponsorship, and Bideau's athletes performance in Beijing left a tad to be desired..

Exactly. Fernandez only ran a 3:56 on a 200 meter indoor track, while Gregson blasted a 3:54 equivalent on a 400 meter track. Clearly Fernandez, being younger and running equivalent times, is not even close to Gregson.

So it sounds like gregson has been dragged to some snazzy times whilst getting his fanny smacked.
German has been winning races in fine times.
Not sure if you guys heard about a cross country race german ran.
Here's the breakdown. 8K (4x2K loops). German runs with two challengers (who have each just run 13:44 & 13:46 indoors) and just in the last 2K puts about 20 seconds on second place and 35 seconds on 3rd.
Can you comprehend what that means for his 5K fitness right now?
He then runs a 3K SICK the following week and wins it in 7:47.
I hate to say it, but while Gregson is a fine runner, German is well ahead of him right now. He could beat him at 1500 and he could mop him at anything over that.
I predict 25 seconds or better ahead at junior world cross.
