Plus you earlier nullified your argument earlier by admiting that duathalon athletes definitely could not cut it in running or biking? So theoretically your other possible sub 29 guy probably maxed out or thought he maxed out his possibilities in running and made the switch. I have nothing against duathalon or multi-sport athletes, but at least give some accurate times and distances....
Lessing's a good runner - no doubt - but in the 8.30 for 3k range - that my Duathlon friend does in no way equate to sub 29 min 10k
