What ever happened to Todd Lippin? Was he sent to jail or just slapped on the wrist?

We have somebody at our Local NJ High School (Hunterdon Central) ranked in the nations top ten in the 2 mile. I believe his name is Panone(?).
i live in the area and lippin has never been formally charged. word around here is that the prosecutor was a bit overzealous and made some statements that weren't true. they're still sorting it through.
the girls from NJ have been doing pretty well. The Trotter twins are moving along well over at Stanford...
Mike Roche..Olympian..10 mile AR 46.57...from Jersey and Rutgers..now owns a store in Boston..
Back when I was in high school, I remember watching the battles between Dijoseph and Coyle and Spoonire who was a few years younger but nipping at their heals. Do these guys still run?
dijoseph ran for a bit at wisconsin then lasalle, and coyle at ND. i think coyle picked up an AA in XC once or twice, but was largely injured his last few years. he moved to san francisco, make a few attempts at comebacks, then hung them up. i believe he was part of the training group that morphed into the original farm team (pre-nike sponsorship days) dijoseph ran well his frosh year (all american?), then was injured, resurfaced at lasalle, then joined the military (navy?).
spoonire ran at seton hall, was multiple big east champ. later ran for the reebok enclave, finished in the top 10 at usatf xc nationals once or twice.
sorry its vague, those guys were studs. the MOC 3200 race in '86 between the coyle and dijoseph as sophs must have been great. 8:59 to 9:02 or something like that.
Someone asked about Hunterdon Central girls...Casey Nelson 19:02 at Holmdel, Indoor mile champ. Girls won the indoor Group IV meet. Girls SMR were All-Americans last year. I'd say they're still doing all right. Girls 4x100 and 4x400 teams are at Penn this year. Kaity Lambracht ran 58 point indoors to get 2nd in the Group 4 400. She's going to Syracuse on a track scholarship...I'd say they're still doing all right.
Joe Mcveigh should get off his high horse and reread some of the stuff he wrote in support of Todd and face facts he was lied to. Great friend. Any of us would think differently even if we were going to support him if it was our sister or daughter. How many other under age girls could we name that he fooled around with. Haven't seen anything yet on his sentencing. Here's a article telling how he pleaded guilty.
You guys are all forgetting BRAD HUDSON...you know the great coach nowadays...
All the pollution did them in....ha,ha,
anybodydy know where jeremy zagroski is?
still running?

New Jersey needs to get a public college with a good team. Rutgers is not cutting it they are one of the worst distance programs on the east coast, in a state that usually has good runners.
The College of New Jersey is consistently ranked in the top 20 for cross-country and produced the fasted D3 time in the 800 last year, i'd say that's a decent distance program. But what do i know, i'm just from New Jersey
Zagorski ran 2:27 for the 1,000 recently. He's at B.C.
Anyone here what Dave Sitzer has been up to in the past couple of years since he left OBU? That guy was really good, kind of just disappeared...

I don't know why don't you just tell us where you are Dave?
Yeah I would like to know as well...maybe if you spelled "hear" correctly or phrase your whole question better you would get more responses.
There were a ton a kids during late 90s to early 2000s who participated in the South Jersey Track Club youth program, who went on become great HS athletes. Wyner, Pelerin, Greg Hugh, Brian Gertzen, Keith Krieger, Pannone, Richardson, Platt, Shannon Sheer, Jenn Ennis, Shameka Speed, Katrina Sye, etc.
Many of the kids from Eastern, Washington Township, Mainland, Bridgeton, Cherokee, Highland, Haddonfield and a lot of the sprinters from Camden and Winslow Township when they were at their peak. I believe and Murad and Donohue practiced with that club as some point as well.
For several years that program was a factory and when the program shut down, you clearly saw the pipeline dry somewhat for South Jersey at least. A lot of out of state kids like Francis Koons (Villanova) and Eric Fleming (Pittsburgh) participated in that program as well.

craig forys... remember the name.
Wow, not a bad prediction. November 2003, Craig Forys was in 8th grade, right? Pretty good pick.
