It is completely unprofessional to slander your competition with senseless name calling. And of course hes gutless enough not to name names.

Sadly he doesn't even appear on the Kenyans radar, or they would tell him just what they think of him..a trivial footnote.

the same things can all be said about pre, and most runners loved that little guy. fam is willing to talk to the media and tell them how he feels, and then you guys get all bent out of shape. relax, he's good for the sport.

I don't know if I'd go that far, but I do think that Famiglietti's personality is such that he has a need to set himself up on some sort of crusade against A System. He's not mature enough to do what he needs to do: namely, do the best he can and run his heart at on the world's stage.

But no, he has a Cause now which conveniently spits all these tasty red herrings about...

I am more alarmed at Fam's courageous goal of the bronze medal (sarcasm) than what he said about the cheats, although it is a close call. For someone like Fam, a bronze medal is only slightly more realistic than a gold medal, so why wouldn't he just go for the ****ing win? Combined with the comment about the cheaters, he just sounded like a victimizing douche. Oh, there are so many cheaters, none of the cards are in my favor, but oh well, maybe I can get third place if I try really hard... what a tool.

People compare Fam to Pre... I don't think you'd ever hear "maybe I can get a bronze despite all of the cheaters" coming out of his mouth.

If you are not going for the Gold at the games

then you should not be there! Why settle (mentally)

for a "hopeful" bronze, BK would not have done that (based upon past comments, races, experiences, etc)

Lay it all out on the line, track, field, court, mat, ring, pool, range, course or whatever.

"Always toe it on the line to Win!" You never know what can happen. Give it 100%.

"Once the excuses come up in the heart and out of the mouth then you have already lost the mental battle".
