Its a shame for Frank that the WC team are away and that Peter Riley couldn't have competed. I think that his run will be under-valued. I couldn't seen him from where I was in the pack but i'm told he won at a canter, so maybe he would challenge the likes of Mo and a fit Chris Thompson.
However, I can't see him running sub 13.30 or sub 28 like many national winners in the past have been capable of / achieved.
Looking through the results, there were worringly few of the decent middle / long distance track runners running!
Whats stopping Warburton, McCourt, East, McCormick, Gunn, Bowden, Warmby, Carter, Miles, Sharp, Stokes running round 12km Cross Country?
