So you can Google. What level of baseball did you play? What athletic skills do baseball players lack that make them non-athetetes? Why were so many MLB players 3-sport stars in HS?
When Babe Ruth started his career he was slim. Was he an athlete then, but not later when he put on a gut?
I didn't play baseball - too busy doing things that didn't require sitting or standing around for hours on end. And I'm not sure why you are taking this so personally. It isn't as if you were ever a pro baseball player, or a star in a real sport. Not saying that some baseball players aren't athletes. I am saying that you don't have to be athletic at all to be an All Star Hall of Famer in baseball. You can be morbidly obese and be an All Star in baseball - this has happened many many many times.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A GOOD ATHLETE TO GET INTO THE BASEBALL HALL OF FAME
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A GOOD ATHLETE TO BE AN MLB ALL STAR
YOU CAN BE MORBIDLY OBESE AND STILL BE A BASEBALL HALL OF FAMER
BASEBALL AIN'T A SPORT
You're claim that someone doesn't have to be a great athlete to play MLB is mildly irritating, especially since you never played the game and apparently know almost nothing about sports. I doubt there is anyone that played organized baseball that would agree that being a good athlete is not required to be successful.
If you were to actually to watch an MLB game you would learn that almost all of the players are fit and muscular. It's not a conditioning sport, so showing pictures of a few DH players or pitchers with guts doesn't prove anything. Having a gut and still being a great athlete are not mutually exclusive anyway.
